This is our favorite Mexican place. Don’t pass on the soups, I love the pozole and my husband loves menudo. We eat here too much! The food is always fresh, lovely service and you can’t beat the price!

01/17/24- Señor Tacos didn't sound Mexican to me. My wife had been wanting to take me because I'm picky about the Mexican restaurants here.I'm glad I went. You walk in and you can seat yourself at any clean table. It says so when you walk in.My wife loves Horchata and that's the first thing she ordered. I asked about the special's but they have the same price and menu all day.They bring chips and salsa while you wait. The salsa isn't hot, so you can enjoy the wait. It's homemade and a knock off or store bought.Our server was Nancy. She was great. She made recommendations on the different combos and explained what I get with the different combos.The menu has lots to choose from. I like the Molcajete because it has a little bit of everything. I love cactus and grilled jalapeños. I like shrimp, chicken, carnitas, asada and chorizo.My wife got the chicken fajitas. You can share them as they give you plenty. They're not stingy with the chicken, so you're not stuck with bell peppers ?They bring out two different salsas to go with the meal. One was green and the other tasted like habanero. Use a chip to try them. I think the spice is perfect for the heat but still enjoy the food.Nancy checked on us and we were never out of drink. She is pleasant and has been there for years. Thanks to the service and delicious food I told my wife I think this is our place!Vegetarian options: One will find a vegetarian dish. It's not a problem there as any dish can be made to order.

My favorite Mexican place in Lafayette. The chips are seasoned with something and its incredible! Highly recommend if you are a lover of flavor! The Arroz Con Pollo here can not be beat!Vegetarian options: A few options listed, but if you ask your server they can customize almost anything for you!

The food here is fantastic. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes to get my food, and the waiters and waitresses are always very friendly and attentive. Even if they're busy, they're constantly cleaning tables to open up a spot for you. I think they put some sort of lime salt on the chips so they're absolutely delicious, my favorite in all of Lafayette. I keep it simple and get Tacos Azada on corn tortillas with cilantro and onion and it has never once let me down. It is 100% worth the 25 minute drive every week!

We had a very pleasant first experience over at Senor Taco. It was my GF's birthday dinner which they served her a flan dessert since it was her birthday. The daughter of course ate it though and enjoyed it for what it was since the GF does not like custard style desserts.I had a Chimichanga and it was ON POINT! My youngest daughter had chicken fingers which she said was a bit spicy because of the seasoning used but was very good. I watched my GF try to down this monster of a daiquiri without getting lightheaded.We also had 2 orders of the Chicken and Steak Fajitas and it was very well flavored and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Also, we had this great server who was super pleasant and attentive.
