Never enough staff. Product is not as well stocked and selection has gone down. Used to be pretty good. Now there is always a line for customer service and the selection seems to have been reduced in the holiday section. Came in for the mini lights - the ones for tiny trees - and they were gone. Completely gone. I remember being so impressed like 5-6 years ago and it’s just gone downhill.
I will say the gentleman, Justin, working the customer service counter was exceptional. He was very kind, quick, polite, witty, and on it!
Update: a week early February, 2025. Still struggling with staffing especially at night. It was not very busy and yet many of the outside corrals were overflowing such that you had to drive around the carts. They also really struggle keeping the baskets stocked at the entrances. This had been an issue for a long time now, day or night. I know work is hard and sucks, but those of us also working hard, sucky jobs, appreciate when you do your job so we don’t have to work even harder, especially after a long day of work for the customers. Please do better.

Horrible customer service. Cashier was kind and handled my problem. However, the manager was flippant and did not want to address my issue. I picked up an inside pickup order and was missing an item. I understand that items are seasonal and may not be available. But don't charge the customer for the item and not fill it. It's that simple.

No electric vehicle charging stations really.!!. It’s 2024 and the government has given you free money to install them. There are plenty of electric cars in the Lafayette area. If people come here to use the chargers, guess what they’re gonna have to do while they’re waiting for them to charge-shop.

Pretty standard Super Target. I will give them a lot of credit they managed to keep most things stocked despite being overwhelmed by the raft of students and families in town for the move in at Purdue.

Literally the worst starbucks. Same coffee as I always order and it taste so diffrent. Also employees were skipping orders. Longest wait I've ever had.

I have tried for 7 months now to get the Baby Registry welcome kit and they never have them in stock. My doctor’s office is over that way, but otherwise this is the closest location and still 45 minutes from where I live. Every time I’ve asked, they just say to “call ahead” (which I do) and “stop by again tomorrow and we may have them”. I was also just told to call Target’s corporate customer service and that I could have one shipped to me, so I did, just to be told the store hasn’t requested them in since last fall. Just largely unhelpful & if you’ve been told about their registry welcome kits all over social media, know they’re virtually impossible to actually get and create your registry elsewhere!

The shoe section was absolutely horrific yesterday. Not a single shoebox was where it was supposed to be (sketchers sneaker boxes underneath high heels, for instance). Open shoe boxes were littered all over the floor. Only obscurely large sizes were available for most shoes. I literally could not believe my eyes ? My Target back home never has this problem.

Don’t work here. If you’re looking for a stable job to pay your bills and keep your family alive this is not the job. This target has terrible management they’re constantly firing people, short staffed, and are very VERY picky. The few workers they do have are severely overworked.
