Returned my trailer the same day I got it, end up with an extra $30 charge to my card. I call customer service and, wouldn’t you know it, they listed the return date as 3 days after the day I actually returned it. Shocking how transparently fraudulent my experience was.

Was charged for straps then u haul didn't have in truck. There was no ramp on the U-Haul. Will never ever go back to usual. My family used U-Haul for many many years. Not anymore. And trust me everyone I know I will tell them not to go to this U-Haul location. I'm so furious with everything U-Haul did. If I could curse you out U-Haul I would. ZERO stars from me.

I rent and purchase boxes and other materials at U-Haul regularly. I always have a great experience. I recommend the South Street location. The staff is great, the process is quick and there is plenty of inventory. I recommend the app as well.

Pickup and return was very easy. Staff was great. The actual truck however had issues and would shake violently when driven over 50mph. Need to make sure trucks are maintained appropriately!

This location went WAY over and above to help me get the right packing materials to ship a very large and awkward package today. They even brought out personal tools to help me disassemble the item further so it would fit. Amazing and more than I ever expected. Could not have done it without them!

I recommend,suggest Ms. Jocelyn take all phone calls. I am ,was absolutely delightful with her professional,well spoken & polite customer service. As a matter of fact, have her do your commercial, advertising with a smile , she's amazing and can give ,provide other businesses with excellent customer service.

Would rate zero if possible. Rude from the get-go, waited so long for someone to hook up the trailer that I went back in to find out if they were waiting for me somewhere. Was told they were too busy with three employees and two customers and would get to me when they could. Came to hook up the trailer, told me their trailer would not work with my hitch due to the thickness of the hooks on their safety cable. Told me all of their trailers have the same hooks and they can't help me. I went to a different U-Haul 20 minutes later and drove away with an identical trailer safely attached to my vehicle. Apparently, terrible customer service is common at this location. Go literally anywhere else!

I made reservations through the app days prior to needing the truck. I tried to pick up the U-Haul and after waiting for around 20-30 mins INSIDE the store yelling hello hello all through the store an employee finally came walking in. (I have no idea where he was for that long) just for him to tell me that they canceled my reservation and he would have to completely redo it. I finally get the truck and I had reserved it for 24 hrs and I took it back before the 24 hrs were up and because they didn't bother to check it in on time I was charged double for EVERYTHING. Luckily I take pics of everything before and after just in case and I was able to prove by the time stamp on the picture that it was there before the 24 hours was up. So if you have to rent a truck from them definitely keep all records receipts pictures everything to cover your own self because if not you will be double charged. And the receipt that he gave me when I pick the truck up with the mileage and the gas the mileage was right but the gas was way off it said it had almost a half a tank in it that truck didn't even have a quarter of a tank I immediately went back in and told him and he said for me to report it on the U-Haul app. Absolutely ridiculous and not helpful worker at all. The lady I spoke with at the actual customer service to let them know that they had double charged me she was amazing very helpful very polite walked me through the whole process on what to email to her so she could resolve the issue and she did immediately but the workers inside the store was not helpful at all.

The staff was less than friendly, they gave me the wrong truck versus the paperwork, an error that I didn't catch until I was already at the move location and put $50 in fuel in the truck since it only had 3/8 of a tank. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to get it taken care of so I could load up what I needed to and get on the road. The truck ran terribly like it needed some type of service. We found out there was a leak somewhere in the Mom's attic as one of the seat cushions stored there was wet upon arrival in Columbus.

In the end, they'll get the job done. But when I was there I paid $1500 for a one way tow only to wait in line for 30 minutes and another 10 while waiting for my equipment. Staff were not unfriendly but also not warm or helpful. They did not have the furniture dollies I reserved a month in advance and confirmed with them two days before, and were not at all helpful when things went wrong with my car trailer, leaving me to call a recovery service by myself. I can't recommend the experience for long distance moves.

Awful place. This was the worst experience I have had at any U-Haul across the nation. The woman at the front desk was very rude and refused to help us find the truck. She also refused to answer any questions we had. The moving truck was left on empty and when asked why, they said it's their "policy" to not fuel up before the next customer. Basically, we got the truck in the condition that the last customer left it. The truck ran poorly, shook while driving, and was left in generally poor condition. This place needs and upgrade from equipment to personnel. If you can find somewhere else to assist with moving, I encourage it. I'd hate to have anyone else to have the same experience we did at this location.

Their customer service is awful....everyone in their is rude....sitting around then when customers walk in they get pissed because now they have to do some WORK....SERIOUSLY. Then on top of that the guy told me there is nothing AT ALL available cuz students booked them all up. So I went online and found what I wanted at this LOCATION. I feel he lied to me.
