“We were there for an outdoor wedding and wedding reception. The grounds are ok. More landscaping would make it more intimate for the outdoor wedding. The reception was crowded and disjointed. People were spread through three rooms so it was hard to know what was going on. It was also hard to move around. It is certainly a beautiful house with great character.”

“Our experience at Candlewood was nothing short of great. Everyone in the staff was so incredibly compassionate and helpful. We ran into a really unfortunate car issue which lead us to being stranded there, and everyone was so kind. They helped us get a room for two nights and one wasn’t even intended. They let us hang out in their lobby all day while trying to get a tow or locksmith out, and they didn’t mind at all and they tried to help. For a crappy situation, they made it bearable and we are so appreciative. Thank you!”

“We just had our wedding here on March 28, and it was truly more incredible than we ever could've dreamed. Lisa & Verlyn took care of us- Lisa was such a great coordinator & Verlyn did a great job with lighting + sound!! We would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is nervous about planning a wedding. I was completely freaked out with all the details & decisions we had to make, but Lisa handled everything + relieved my worries like a true professional and a rare gem in the wedding industry!!!
