Was looking for men's razors and needed sodas. The soda they had but the only men's razors were the very cheap ones. I got them out of necessity but not happy with them. Also my health savings card was declined and there's over $200 on it. Not happy

The prices and selection make it the “best grocery store in town.” It’s wild that literal farming country is a place that constitutes a food desert.
Ruler seems to do the best they can, within their square footage limitations and Kroger’s corporate obsession with prioritizing shareholder profits over employee care.

Transcontinental Service!My husband and I are in Finland, and my 100-yr-old uncle resides in Loogootee. We wanted to treat him before the holidays with his favorite foods of mandarin oranges and a bakery pie. We placed a call to the Ruler grocery in town and spoke with the store manager on duty, Jayd, about the logistics of making this happen. Immediately and enthusiastically she agreed to do this for us! She had the requested items -- PLUS flowers and a card! -- delivered to my uncle the same day we called. Jayd went way beyond a simple act of Christmas kindness. Please do shop at this location because it truly deserves your patronage. By any measure (pun intended), this Ruler store's management rules!

Produce didn't look worth buying. Moldy strawberries, very small amount of fresh meat. My first time there. I frequent a real kroger in my hometown and this was terrible. The employees didn't seem to want to be there. Our cashier was depressing. Didn't even ask me if I wanted a bag. I'm handicapped and the young man working the register obviously didn't want to be there. Very disappointing. Will never go back. This town would dobetter with an Aldis.
