“Me and the Wife just wrapped up a anniversary Hiking session at Clifty Falls and it was past the time to wet our whistles.
We were on our way to check into our Air BNB off the river in nesrby Milton, KY. I saw bottle shop as we turned the corner and we Stopped in for a bottle of whisky, I was looking at the cheaper to mid price stuff with a sadface and thought it doesnt hurt to ask. I asked the staff if they had any allocated stuff tucked away and they pointed me on a lil scavenger hunt as amongst their shelves in which a gem was said to be hidden.
Was it EHT?, Stagg?, Pappy?
I looked and when it finally revealed itself I felt like Harold and Kumar when they finally got to White Castle. There it stood, a well protected bottle of Blantons. Hallelujah...
I wasted no time buying that bottle and 2 little shot glasses. We only drink whisky neat so things couldnt be more perfect.
This bottle find was such a nice surprise on our 18th anniversary out of town.”
