Absolutely disgusting. Every cat is horriably sick. Dogs living in very unsanitary conditions. This place needs closed for animal abuse due to living conditions. Those animals deserve better and will never find a home in a gross place like that.

I have now taken 7 Ferrell cats to the shelter to be spayed and neutered . And there is a desperate need for supplies for the shelter. If pet parents were more responsible, our city would not be overrun with strays. There are more than 190 cats currently at this particular shelter that doesn't include the other shelters. This trip was eye-opening. We all should help with supplies, volunteering, or donations to take care of these poor, neglected animals. The sounds of these poor animals that deserve our humanity was heart breaking. Let's all do a small part to help with the big problem of homeless animals.

zero starsFor starters they catfish you from pet finder with kittens they dont even have. When I arrived to pick up so called kitty that I had emailed them about and made arrangements to pick up the kitty I was told they didn’t have one by that name after I emailed them about the kitty I saw on pet finder. They walk over to this cat room that has over fifty cats in it and she pulls me one out. While I’m trying to look this one over I see it’s missing hair on the inside of its legs. So the worker changed it out for another one. I had no idea what I was getting into with this decision to adopt a cat from this place. Brought her home and she sneezed and sneezed took her to the vet to have her checked over to find out she has feline herpes that won’t every go away and she also had ringworm. It’s so sad for this cat and so nasty for me to deal with. I would say every cat has those same diseases since it is highly contagious and all the cats live in the same room together. They need shut down

Brenda and Nick was both good to talk to. All that worked there answered any questions and everyone was willing to help anyway they could. Some might be asking did you adopt a dog and the answer is I sure did. Thanks is due to everyone there.

Terrible at communicating with you. Never answer the phone. Too many dogs to pins. Tried multiple times to get ahold of someone to adopt and no one will answer. They always post about being overcrowded on their Facebook page yet seems like they care less if the dogs leave or not. Whoever runs this place needs the boot!

I tried so many times to get in contact with them about adopting a dog that needed a home badly. I’ve seen many negative reviews involving this place but I tried to look past it. Unbelievable customer service. After trying to call for days they blocked me!! All I wanted to do is give a dog in need a loving home. Shame on you!!!

This place smells. They said that they aren't require to spay or neutered the animal or give them a rabies shot. I adopted a dog there cause I felt sorry for the animals cause the conditions are trouble. I had to quartine my dog since I got bite. I will be calling animal control there to report the conditions of this place. The animals will be better somewhere else or on the streets

1 star is generous as they don't communicate in any way with you and make it a waste of your time to try to rescue an animal. However 5 stars if your rating it as a hoarding situation. Animals have been there for years and adoption applications go under answered.

I went there 8 days ago to adopt a puppy, filled out the application and everything and they gave the dog to someone else. Very disappointed ?

There are many great dogs here but they really need more funding for a bigger space.

Worst ran shelter I've seen my entire life. Zero organization terrible living conditions for the animals cages way too small which is a form of abuse on its own. The woman who runs it has the worst social skills I've ever dealt with. Constantly makes excuses for her failures.. you ask a question she gets defensive amd does everything but answer the question then criticizes you for being homest.Makes you feel as if the situation many were in was better than the current one. This place needs new people to run it. You also shouldn't be able to deny someone because they told you the truth amd it hurts her feelings, but that's exactly the kind of place it is. I think she's racist being the way I was treated the second I walked in. Things definitely need to change starting with the person that runs it needs to be gone.pepple that actually care for the animals and puts in the extra time to make sure they live in sanitary conditions. A person can get toxemia breathing the disgusting air filled with urine and feces. I know multiple places with less staff ran 1000 times better amd you smell zero fecal matter in the air. Poor animals sleep with it and that's not how a rescue place that cares would allow it to be!
