“Let me tell you about my Jesus and a great company called Overpeck Gas Co…. We found ourselves in a bind not realizing how low our propane tank had gotten. When I placed my order I realized it was going to be over 2 weeks before we could possibly get propane, and I knew this wouldn’t work because we wouldn’t make it. We improvised by not cooking on the stove, running a heater so the furnace wouldn’t turn on so much and such. I finally started panicking “shocker I know”. I called our propane co “mind you been loyal for 11 years” and asked them about an emergency fill as we were desperate bc I have a business to run and can’t without warm water. She said they aren’t offering it, so you know Sayrah and her choice words?? Needless to say they said sorry but there was nothing they could do and couldn’t tell me when we could get propane! 2 weeks of being stressed! Mind you we have wanted to leave this company for a long time but just never put in the time in figuring out when to switch over. I literally called overpeck on Monday and the owner was in my yard within 2 hours and looked at me and said “you dont need to worry, we will take care of you and get you heat and hot water asap”? I wanted to cry!!!!! Guys!!!!!! The owner called me that evening and said I have a fresh tank with your name on it and I will be there Tuesday morning setting you a new tank and a tank of propane!!!! THIS????? This is what a business is all about! Compassionate, caring, understanding and knowing how to take care of someone as he owed us nothing, but gave his all! He will have a customer for life! He said “I never wanted to lose sight of my customers and what they are to me”. I told him this is how I was raised too and this is why I have stayed small to never forget where I came from and to always know my customers arent money, they are family ? I then had to beg God to forgive me for falling short once again in failing to have the faith knowing God would see us through ? It was truly a blessing in disguise and I am forever grateful to still find amazing people in such a dark world?? So if your struggling to switch or debating or not knowing who to turn to…… OVERPECK is it?? They will take care of you ??”
