Stopped at 8pm on a Friday night. No sign on the door but the doors were locked. Hours on the door and website claim they close at 10pm. I understand closing early for staffing or emergencies but let people know! Even a sign on the door would do!

The store manager was very pleasant and very helpful! The store was definitely one of the more put together and organized of the CVS stores I typically go to. Will definitely be back!

This CVS has definitely gone "downhill" in 2023. I would give it zero stars if possible. I consistently have to visit this CVS multiple times to get critical prescriptions filled and pick them up (plus they generally don't have prescriptions ready for pick up at the time they tell you to return after an initial visit). This week it took a phone call plus 4 visits on 4 separate days to get a prescription for my aging mother. Staff is often rude when you point out you have come in multiple times and your medication is still not available. The drive through has been randomly closed without warning for months, and recently the entire pharmacy has been closed multiple times all day unexpectedly. It has literally become impossible to count on picking up a critically needed prescription here as you don't know if the pharmacy will be open that day. l value my time, need to pick up meds without multiple visits and significant delays, and thus will start using a different pharmacy.Update 11/15/23: This CVS has descended to new lows; my disabled mother who doesn't drive had a prescription sent here and then spent *2 hours*waiting on hold to speak to someone to get it "rushed" (since that's the only way this pharmacy actually fills prescriptions, speaking to someone in the pharmacy). She never got an answer and finally hung up. The store manager, Melanie, says that the pharmacy can't answer the phone when there are people waiting in line (drive through is always closed at this point). Melanie also guaranteed me that the District Manager would call me 3 weeks ago; naturally that never happened. Tonight she told me to call corporate and complain. The in person line in was 15 people deep (no drive through).I suggest every person who has a problem with this pharmacy ought to complain to the store manager *every time* and request a call back.

This review doesn’t reflect the staff at this location. This review is for corporate. People are unable to obtain their medications and the pharmacy is behind due to staffing shortages. I know from personal experience how you guys treat staff. Overworked, underpaid. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves. People depend on you for a service for their medicine. Maybe if you didn’t treat your pharmacy technicians and pharmacists like trash this wouldn’t be happening. This pharmacy is constantly closed and no longer offers drive thru and is not open on Sunday. You guys make so much profit but yet still continue to do people like this. Get it together and maybe you wouldn’t see such a high turn over rate and more employees would stick around. I really hope that eventually this catches up to you.

This is the WORST pharmacy. If I could give it 0 stars I would. They’re always behind. The drive through is closed , they are DAYS behind on refills their customer service is awful you can tell no one wants to be there. You try to call and they will either not answer the phone for a HOUR or they will answer the phone , not say anything, and leave it off the hook so you can hear all the background conversations the pharmacist is having I’ve even heard customers say their names and DOB. Over the phone I’m sure there’s probably a HIPAA violation in that somewhere. This place is an absolute dumpster fire. If you’re considering transferring your prescription from another pharmacy to here I strongly advise against it.

I would give less than one star if I could! Every month you have to call and talk to a real human to try to get refills even though you call them in to their automated system. They actually told us that they won't fill them until you come into the store or call and talk to a person, if they will even answer the phone. Even then it's a 50/50 shot whether the pharmacy will even be open when you go to pick them up. Don't use CVS in Martinsville unless you want to be left without your needed prescriptions and wo knows when you can get them. Beware!!

They do need a zero or a negative star rating. Took over a week to get my meds filled. Waited on hold for the pharmacy for 1.5 hrs with no answer. Called there consumer complaint line and 2 times and 2as on hold tor 1 hour with no help. It's not our problem that they don't have anyone there who knows how to run a pharmacy.Go to kroger or Walmart...

Wish I could rate below 1 star. Always a line and have been on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes and now the pharmacy is closed. Staff is overworked and stressed and this reflects in how they treat people. I’ve been told I can call corporate and complain as they are doing the best they can. Hours have been cut so that makes the problem worse. App is no good as you still can’t get your prescription filled in time. You can move it up if you call but that would require that someone answer the phone. Only choice is to go into the store and wait in a long line District Manager or whoever is responsible needs to do something about it as people need their medication on time. Plus CVS is the preferred pharmacy where my husband works so we can’t really switch pharmacies.

In person service is always pretty good, but if you need to call to speak to the pharmacy, good luck! You can call the second they open, and you will still be on hold for a good 20 mins. And when they answer they have an attitude like you are an annoyance for calling. It's frustrating.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The wait for the pharmacy to answer their phone is over 45 minutes long yet they ask you to call in to refill your medication since the app to this store doesn't work properly. Also, my husband's meds have been on "back order" for 4 days now. Every day they tell us his medicine will be here tomorrow... today we show up and the tech, Faith, had the audacity to say, "well, next time order ahead and you won't have this problem." WE DID!! 6 days ahead of time. All of a sudden, his medication drops down from the heavens above and it's there, right on the spot. They have it. Poor quality. Poor customer service. Don't bother coming here. Waste. Of. Time.

UPDATE: this situation got worse the next day and was ultimately resolved by the kind techs and district manager. He’s awesome, the techs are great. Pharmacist yelled at me demanded to know why she couldn’t get ahold of my doctors office I told her I’m not sure because I’ve had no issues. She immediately gets ahold of them, she screamed at me still not getting down to the root of what I was asking. I never got to ask my questions because she was too busy blaming me. My doctor called me, found out they HAD THE PRESCRIPTION THE ENTIRE TIME. Someone is lying in the situation and after my doctor’s reaction vs the pharmacist’s reaction, I’d say she’s probably the one not being truthful, however, I will never know because she refused to talk to me like a human being and caused a second confrontation for seriously no reason. Then I called Walgreens so I could have the future stuff sent over and then the pharmacist at CVS threw out my meds and told me they were at Walgreens. Walgreens was shocked because that’s not what they were doing they were just getting my information, they filled it no issue. It felt like she intentionally made my life harder and it all comes down to communication.CVS, you need to find a new pharmacist she either needs a break or to retire that was insane. I’m still dealing with the after effects this just ended at 7pm it took me 24 hours of tracking down my meds and being yelled at by their pharmacist twice because she wouldn’t listen to me and she was too busy screaming at me and accusing me of not calling my doctor.I called my doctors office, they knew I was out of my medications I was told it was sent over. When I arrived I waited in line a very long time and while frustrating I wasn’t upset with them. Until, I found out my doctor didn’t provide the prescription and I was asking for a solution. The solution being, “what are my next steps, because I’m scared of what will happen” then continuing with why it’s a problem and why I’m scared. The tech looked to the pharmacist to help me because I was scared of what would happen to me without my medication I have been on this medication for a long time and it can cause hospitalizations if I go without it. Not only did I leave without my meds (may not be their fault) but the pharmacist screamed at me from across the pharmacy declaring it’s on me not realizing that I had in fact called my doctor. Not only that, but she screamed at me and blamed me without knowing what was going on in front of 10 other customers in line, totally unprofessional. I will be calling corporate that pharmacist is either burnt out or shouldn’t be allowed to talk to customers. Something needs to be done, the amount of reviews with horrendous experiences with the pharmacy recently is kind of ridiculous, they need help. She literally turned a scary incident of not having the medications I rely on to keep me healthy and functioning into a full blown confrontation and ended up triggering one of my illnesses due to the stress and anxiety she caused. I will not be returning, I have NEVER BEEN TREATED THAT WAY BY ANY EMPLOYEE AT ANY ESTABLISHMENT. Also, when I called the pharmacy to get the number I found out I had a prescription in process and they said they had absolutely nothing, may have been a glitch but my doctor’s office was closed at this point hence why I’m going without my medicine tonight.I want add that I was panicking, but I was not mean, it was obvious that I was scared.

Hands down the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I'm not supposed to drive due to surgery and the staff at this pharmacy have held me hostage for over 120 minutes keeping me on hold and hanging up on me multiple times. I finally decided to drive to the pharmacy while still on hold. When I arrived and reached the cashier I told them they could hang up on my again because I'm here in person now and they refused to address my complaints, apologize for how I was being treated or serve me. Instead they had me escorted out by police. Once outside the deputy empathized with me and told me he hates dealing with this pharmacy as well.I will never step foot in another CVS.

Worst pharmacy BY FAR! Waited in the drive thru for 30+ minutes (I was 2nd in line), when that car did finally leave I pulled up to the window to see that they posted the "closed for lunch" sign as soon as that car pulled away. RUDE MUCH?! There were 5 cars behind me waiting also. I went inside and was turned away even after I told them I just sat in the drive thru for 30+ min. Guarantee I will never use this specific location ever again!
