The lady behind the counter was really nice. The place was clean. The bathroom didn't smell. But the coffee... was atrocious. Two weeks in a row. And there's no decaff.

Nice little gas station, one I can bike to from home. Love the sandwiches and burgers here, kinda a little pricey.

This is in direct response to the owner who replied to my earlier post, due to the GR will not allow you one to make multiple reviews or reply to the owner's response and I STRONGLY suggest you read every word. 1.) No, he did not "give her the money back,"; ONLY after she contacted you and I posted promises to contact the MCSD and the Hoosier Lottery Fraud Department to request an audit; bad news, they're coming. We decided NOT to accept your offer, as your told her she would to "look at the camera first to see he is honest,", in front of other customers making her like like a thief whether intended or not isn't relevant. Furthermore, we DID however choose to speak with the 37 people who live in our neighborhood, over half of whom have had similar issues and NONE of whom will ever return, as we will not, either, nor will the dozen-plus friends to whom we spoke who used to come there.- It's not "honest," if you have to 1.) Fight for what you're owed, or 2.) Have to speak with the owner who clearly isn't Raj, because when HE owned the facility, it was ran with class and cleanliness, not to mention respect. I'll get to that in a few minutes.2.) Speaking of bad reviews, we''re not the first, FYI, and you should read your other reviews on here if you think MINE was bad. 3.) HERE IS WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED: She came in last night with a winning ticket worth $12 and told him she wanted to use it to purchase more tickets, which totaled $12; she owed nothing for those. She then told him she had a separate purchase for $12 more worth; he informed her he would not do two separate purchases in VERY broken English "No, one purchase only, you hold up line,"; so she agreed, went to pay the $12 and was told that she owed $24 first, which she didn't, then the price jumped to $32, for the $24 worth of tickets, $12 worth of which were supposed to be paid for by the winning ticket in which she turned. After this, along with which after his aggressive tone, his argumentative attitude, he had her so upset that she wanted out of there and paid the money only to realize what she'd done upon arriving home. 3.) When she called immediately after, instead of talking to her himself, he HANDED THE PHONE TO A CUSTOMER TO HANDLE A PHONE CALL; WE DO NOT DO BUSINESS LIKE THAT IN AMERICA AND WE SPEAK ENGLISH, THIS ISN'T HARD TO UNDERSTAND. IF HE CAN BARELY SPEAK ENGLISH HE HAS NO BUSINESS WHATSOEVER OPERATING A REGISTER AND HANDLING PEOPLES' MONEY/CHANGE/LOTTERY TICKETS. --So, you have lost over 40 customers today, not including us.-- You had the NERVE to thank us for our business after telling her that "she nor her family are welcome at any on the way stores anymore"; no worries, not only will we never come back, the four-dozen people to whom we spoke will not, either. 4.) Here are several more experiences we've had with this "gentleman,"- the latest being only three weeks ago when my girlfriend and I stopped in for drinks; she had to use the restroom in which there was NO toilet paper; I informed him of this, and instead of handing me a roll to hand to her, he tried to go in WITH HER IN THERE to restock it himself or not at all, then told me the toilet paper "for sale over there; either you but to restock or I restock myself,". Um, NO, he's not going in there with my girlfriend sitting the bathroom, with she & I on the phone telling him there is no toilet paper (in a filthy restroom at that). 5.) I came in every day last winter, spent over $100 per day for weeks on end until one day, I dropped my card while getting soft drinks; he YELLS AT ME to "hurry up, you holding up line,"....I looked behind me; there was NO line. There were two people slowly walking up to the register, laughing and shaking their heads at this man's rudeness. I'm going to make something VERY clear to you; this is America; I have every right to post truthful reviews here as much as I choose, as do my family and frien

First time they overcharged me I gave the benefit of the doubt and believed it was an honest mistake. The second time it happened I still thought it could be an error with a new operating system, but gave me pause enough to begin asking for the receipt. The third time, after they reluctantly gave me the receipt, I could clearly see that the wrong buttons were being pressed to create an upcharge.Every time I have gone here they have stolen from me by deliberately overcharging me.Absolutely get a receipt and check it against the items you purchased if you go here.

Two stars, instead of 1 only because it is the only place near by. Otherwise I would not willingly spend my hard earned money here. The male cashier here is always so miserable, grumpy and rude. He doesn't even offer you a receipt for the heavily overpriced items he rings you up for. He also gets huffy & puffy if you ask him what the price is after he rings it up (it's not easy to see the register digital board) which is why I had to ask for a receipt because things rung up incorrectly. You would think you'd at least give a smile to someone who you basically robbed from because of your outrageous prices. SMH. Suggestion to the male clerk: Don't work retail if you dislike people so much.

I’ve been going to this gas station since we moved here, including when they recently rebuilt the facility. I went in today to get myself a few energy drinks and had a very poor experience with one of the cashier ladies. She asked me an extremely inappropriate question, which was “do you have an arm problem? “ I am an individual with cerebral palsy and being asked this type of question by a stranger is not only hurtful but also uncalled for. She asked me in front of a whole line of people which was even more embarrassing. Additionally, she did not apologize. I will 100% not be giving these people my business any longer, we wanted to support our local gas station and it was very convenient to go there due to it being close to our neighborhood, but after this experience they will be losing my family‘s business business and I will spread the word to people that I know who also go there. Not to mention that they completely jacked up the prices on their Products, but that is besides the point. If you want to potentially be humiliated and offended, come to this place!
