They quickly diagnosed the issue: we needed a new alternator! Fortunately, there's an O'Reily's down the street and they had one in stock.
The service guy swapped our's out and we were back on the road in about 2.5 hours. Amazing! Even better, they charged a fair price for emergency work on a Sunday (and less than what we would have paid at home).
