Would Not Recommend Mobile Deposit !The people that work here are wonderful and i love that i can see what my pending charges are on my mobile app. Though when i mobile deposit a check there’s always a hold on it and i don’t receive my money until a week later. Everytime. When i take it into the bank it goes in the next day. This has made me extremely upset and made me lose trust in the company. People need their money for bills and necessities and holding a paycheck for a week for “review” is ridiculous.

I went to this branch and Camila who was the Relationship Banker there who helped me with opening new Checking account. She was so kind and very helpful. Prior to my visit I called this branch and she was the one scheduled the appointment too. I felt Camila is very very knowledgeable and has very good patience. If you plan to visit this branch please make sure you call and fix the appointment with this Relationship Banker, so that you can have a good experience with this bank and you can save your valuable time as well. I will always be very thankful to her for assisting me.

I long for the days when airing opinions or complaints about could only be done if you got out the phone book, found your offending branch’s number and then had to call them to whine because the teller somehow offended another’s delicate sensibilities

Every employee is absolutely fantastic and always willing to assist with any questions one may have.I bring my puppy Ginny Weasley there and conduct business with this branch consistently. They go above and beyond on so many levels and I applaud their hard work and dedication!Happy holidays

My Sister Has A Permanent Disability so we go to whichever atm we can get her to and she racks up a lot of fees unfortunately. When You Call This Bank Typically They are so RUDE at this bank the CSR's Lack Basic Empathy And Good Customer Service Skills my sister called this bank put it on speaker and I heard her speaking to an Isabel. She did not try to assist her whatsoever. Use Chase, People's Bank Anyone Should Be Better Than Fifth Third Their Customer Service Is Below Average

I went into the bank upset and overwhelmed trying to take care of my dads financial things. The 2 wonderful ladies in the bank were extremely helpful and kind. Making things that had been difficult easy and helping me to keep my dads finances protected. If I hadn’t been so upset I would have remembered to get their names, but I am very grateful to both of them!

Always greeted nicely as I walk in. The customer service reps are always great. They take my money really quickly and give me a nice piece of paper in return. Never had to wait in line and never walked out questioning humanity.

This rating is specifically for the ATM location right next to Chick-fil-a in Merrillville. If I could give a zero, it would be there. This has happened to another family member and now me. Its unfortunate that the ATM machine ate my card. Luckily, I didn't even get the chance to deposit my cash cause I'd be left with nothing (thanks fifth third!). Screen froze and I waited around thinking my card would spit out EVENTUALLY. Nope, just a message saying the machine was going to sleep? The screen goes black for a few minutes. Then proceeded to say this machine was temporarily out of service. There isn't a number to call anywhere on the machine either so my trip to the ATM was very unfortunate tonight. Will be switching over to a more reliable company tomorrow. Just a warning to others ⚠️

They only care about making money off their customers. Otherwise they could care less . They send us ads all the time and say we are pre approved but then made an excuse why they wouldn't give us a home equity loan . Go somewhere else and bank

This branch of Fifth Third is by far and away the best one in the area. Their service is prompt and accurate. After my past experiences with the Crown Point branch, this location has been the companies saving grace.

I had sold one of my many Bass guitar amps to Guitar Center 12/21/18 around 5 pm and unknowing to me they paid by check. I asked if they had a bank they do business with as I had some Christmas shopping to do, they recommended your branch. After quickly verifying by calls to GC, I was paid. That's not why I'm writing this review, the teller who handled the transaction was. Through, kind, professional. A genuine people person. When you can see a person that exhibits those qualities all in a 5 minute business transaction in an unlikely place as a busy bank....that's amazing. I have been dealing with my bank in Chicago since 1973 and after today I don't know why. You rock my Dear.

I must say, Donna Capretti was an amazing help with getting pre-approved for a loan. Her kindness, attention to detail and knowledge is a testament to the quality of service Fifth Third promises to deliver! I never hesitated to give her a call if I had a question or concern. I highly recommend this branch, and recommend speaking with Donna if there's anything you're unsure about. Best branch ever!
