  I was just looking around and was asked if I needed any help. Then, when I asked for help, he gave me his full attention. He also explained everything I asked.

  Not sure if it was just this particular cashier, but I went with my father a Veteran, and he was just outright treated poorly, he asked if they offered a veterans discount, cashier says “nope” which was fine, but then he proceeds to give her a $100 bill, she right away says “I don’t think I have change for that” and the other cashier proceeds to make the change (I guess she couldn’t figure out the change in smaller denominations), after the change is given, she turns to us and says “you’re done here”, but my father let her know he would like the receipt, the cashier then snatched the receipt from the machine and gave it to my father. He walks out, I stayed behind to pay for my item, the cashier does not even acknowledge me, but her coworker (whom I would say handled the whole situation well) said he’d take care of me. As he is ringing me up, the cashier and whom I presume to be the manager (whom had left and had just returned to get the change she couldn’t figure out for $100) begin to speak about my father in a negative tone, “he won’t be getting a refund if he doesn’t give a number” “who pays with $100” I merely mentioned being from Chicago and that my father just doesn’t like providing personal info, and they began to try and cover themselves but at that point I just would rather walk out. This particular harbor freights seems to have no respect for veterans

  Cashiers were on their phones the whole time watching videos seemed to busy to help you check out. The manager seemed more worried about being “friends” with the checkout girls than a boss. I wish I could give negative star review. Will only go to portage now and would recommend people try the other store if they want good service

  I've made many trips here. The workers have always been friendly and knowledgeable about the tools they sell. The prices are good. I've heard a lot of people say the tools are of low quality. Admittedly the tools aren't of the same quality as some of the big name brands. But ive used a lot of harbor freight tools and so far they have all worked just fine for me at a fraction of the cost of other brands.
