The owner puts into each one of his customers I’ve never experienced at any other shop hands-down best hobby shop in the area tons of 40 K stuff although I’m not into train an airplane models. “Just moved to the area and was excited to find this place. Great shop with many comics and Magic: The Gathering. Huge game room to sit down and participate in their weekly events. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anna even provided a list of other local game stores and local restaurants to eat. Even suggested places for my dogs! I will be a weekly customer.”
“I've been going to this game store for a long time. Up until somewhat recently there was just one person working here. I'm pretty sure he was the owner. Real nice guy, but it was clear he couldn't handle a giant store like this by himself. There is a business called Game Changers in Michigan City that ended up buying this store up. Anyone who has been to that store will know that it was great news that they had a new location.
I already really liked going here before, but under the new ownership this place got even better. There is multiple employees working here now which is great. Some of them I already knew from Game Changers. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and always give a great experience. The trade value is solid. There's always a ton of games in stock. The prices are solid. Not much to complain about really. I'm really happy that the Game Changers brand is expanding. They deserve more support.”
“This place is awesome. Arthur and team are very knowledgeable on jewelry, coins, stamps, and more. I had them repair a couple of bracelets and they did a great job. They have some modern jewelry but I really like the vintage jewelry that they have there.”
“Currently limited days and hours open but guess that can be expected since the other 3 hobby train stores have closed. Store small but has a large warehouse of items that goes back at least 40 years. If you know what you want in advance its best to ask in advance.”
“Spacious store with massive selection of any and all trading cards (not so much soccer). Clean well organized with friendly helpful staff. Showcases full of goodies and high end classics. Well respected place to have unopened material certified. Well worth a visit if cards are your passion.”
