“Huge shout out to the staff at the Merrillville, IN store for being absolutely incredible during our Make A Wish shopping spree on Friday! Candice and her team went above and beyond to make our girls shopping experience amazing and she and Stacy put together some great surprises for the family to take home, we appreciate it so much”
“There really isn’t a better record store than tom lounges record bin! Everything is incredibly easy to find, the selection is out of this world and the atmosphere is one of a kind! Tom is a great conversationalist, he knows an incredible amount about music and the business. Overall if you are looking for an amazing experience or looking for your favorite music in all different formats, this is the place to go!”
“All employees were super helpful, even though I had a more abstract idea than they were used to. We managed to work through each needed step of the project and find the ideal parts. Prices were super good, and everyone was super knowledgeable. Will definitely be going again”
“I just wanted to leave a review of this place because we had the absolute best experience here today. The lovely young man that helped us was so kind, and patient, and honest. Came in just to look at N64 consoles, ended up leaving with the console, games, and extra controllers at what I genuinely felt were good deals on all. I was so happy I could spend my money at a small local business, especially one where it was clearly appreciated. If you need anything video game related, movie related, heck, he even has vinyl albums and toys, go here! Support our awesome local businesses and their awesome owners and employees!”
“Just moved to the area and was excited to find this place. Great shop with many comics and Magic: The Gathering. Huge game room to sit down and participate in their weekly events. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Anna even provided a list of other local game stores and local restaurants to eat. Even suggested places for my dogs! I will be a weekly customer.”
“I brought in some old coins I'd inherited asking if they could help me understand what I had. I spoke with two different gentlemen who were extremely helpful without being pushy. They were both extremely knowledgeable and clearly knew their business. I trusted them, and that is what matters.”
“I give the staff there five stars for their patience and professionalism. Shout out to Ex in framing and Monica assistant manager who went above and beyond in helping to create a photo collage for my mom. She also had to deal with a customer who wanted everyone to know how upset (impatient) she was. I also can't forget to mention manager on phone who assisted Monica while at home.”
“Currently limited days and hours open but guess that can be expected since the other 3 hobby train stores have closed. Store small but has a large warehouse of items that goes back at least 40 years. If you know what you want in advance its best to ask in advance.”
