I place a order online and the product was on back order so I have to wait for it to arrive at the store in Merrillville indiana and was told I would be notified when it arrives at the store. I was never notified that it ever arrived so I called the store and they said it had been delivered and they restocked it. I told them one i was never notified that it arrived 2 was the store ever going to call me or email me 3 it took me to call if I didn't was menards just going to keep my money with out informing me. The store manager and the gm told me because its past 90 days I would have to get store credit I explained I was notified and the product was on back order and you guys just took my money and weren't even going to let me know anything and keep my money. I don't understand if it's not my fault and was never notified about my order how can menards just keep my money and count it as store credit. I do have a attorney working with me and no I do not wish to proceed with legal actions but if my money is not credited back to my card I will have no other options then to pursue legal actions I am giving menards 7 to 14 business days to make this right

Nice store. Employees are nice and helpful. The store is clean and neat. The only reason I gave 4 star is because some employees see you struggling with a large order and don’t offer help. Also when looking for things staff need to walk with me instead of pointing the way!

We went to purchase some dirt and some pea gravel, we found the dirt and we went to the register in the garden center, we asked the cashier (Waymon) where we were supposed to pay for the pea gravel and he didn't answer, so the woman on the other register told us where. We paid for the dirt and my wife asked if we could have a bag (she still hadn't picked up the small bag of dirt off of the counter), he didn't answer her, he just pushed the bag rack towards her, she took the bag off of the bag rack and set it on the counter next to the dirt. He didn't put the dirt in the bag, he just looked away and didn't say anything. That was one rude employee.

0 stars I bought a o cedar mop, the boxes on the shelf were ALL DAMAGED AND OPEN, i asked the cashier if she could get me a unopened box or a discount, she called the manager mind you the box was ALL THE WAY open side of the box was crushed in, new boxes were on overhead she didnt even offer to get me a new box automatically said no we cant sorry called someone else over she also said the same with a crushed opened box, 2 managers said no didnt even get me the newer box BAD SERVICE WILL GO TO HOME DEPOT NOW.
