I got a fill in last week, two of my nails were off a week later!!! When I came in to get the nails replaced they charged me. Their product is defective if it only last a week! Nail Luv Salon in Merrillville 7894 Broadway, don’t stand behind their work. Therefore, I would not recommend them nor will I use them in the future. Merrillville has nail shops very close to this location. Maybe they Will appreciate my business!

This was my go to nail salon because there are 3 techs who does well Justin, Andrew and Jenni. Whenever I'd go here they were always professional and friendly. However my last 2 experiences were not so great but since this was the first time in like 1 year, I had a bad experience, I decided to give them another try. I had been wearing a set that Andrew did for awhile and it was great, never any lifting, breaking, and lasted very long. This set was so good I almost didn't want to take them off but I knew it was time for a fresh set. Justin did the fresh set on February 1st and the acrylic was laid so thin you could literally see dents right across the center of my nails where the nail tip was glued on. I tried to ignore but I couldn't so I went back the next day for him to lay another layer of acrylic to fill in the dents. One thing I noticed for the first time with this fresh set, is that primer was not laid across my entire natural nail, he only went right around my cuticle. About 6-7 days later, 3 nails popped right off like press ons. I knew it was because he didn't use primer underneath the acrylic, which we know primer is needed to ensure the acrylic securely sticks to the natural nail bed. When I went back and told him what happened he argued and told me the primer was not the reason this happened. I said this is the first time my nails have ever popped off clean and this is the first time my entire natural nail was not covered with primer for a fresh new set. These came off so clean I was able to glue them back on like press ons. For that to have been a fresh set of nails that should have never happened 7 days later especially when I know I had just removed a set I had been wearing for awhile which Drew was doing and that set never lifted nor popped off and drew would also cover my entire area of growth with primer before he did the fill in. I also do nails myself so I know the importance of all the products used to do a set. Needless to say I won't be going back because they will always try to make you think you don't know what you're talking about. If you tell them you see lumps in your nails, a crooked nail, a dent, etc they try to make you think its ok and your eyes playing tricks.
