“Darren, one of the managers at this store, gave me phenomenal service recently. Even though I am painting a residence, I have commercial-level requirements for repainting the architectural steel. I was not receiving good advice from other Sherwin Williams channels (e.g., someone recommended using Duration exterior, which might be fine for other use cases but not mine). So I called commercial to get better answers.
I did not know the composition of the existing paint on the steel. Darren discussed multiple options with me, anyway. He walked me through Epoxy and Urethene coatings, and how transportation departments use that for bridges, with results lasting decades. But that would most likely require stripping the existing paint to bare steel. So he gave me another option in the Sherwin Williams line, Pro-Cryl and Sher-Cryl, and he carefully explained the benefits and tradeoffs.
Darren spent roughly 40 minutes with me on the phone. And when he realized that I lived closer to another Sherwin Williams store, he suggested that it might be easier to buy the paint there, but that he would still be happy to answer any future questions that I might have.

“I needed a 3 in 1 replacement blind for my front window and contacting JC Licht was the perfect thing to do. The replacement fits perfectly and looks great. Clare, my salesperson, was wonderful to work with. Keith, the installer, had my old blinds down and new ones up within 15 minutes and out the door. Lovely blinds and great place to do business with.”
“I picked up some paint to help cover some vinyl damage I had from a couple years ago and tried to use a piece of the vinyl to match it. The lighting made it it look a little too green and I felt that the chip wasn't too reliable so I took a picture. Took it back and the same guy who was there (bearded guy) managed to try to use a picture I had on my phone to replicate the color. I'm shook because the color is an EXACT MATCH. Give that man a raise! I demand he gets a raise because damn I'm shook.”

“I was there about 2 years ago I love going there I don't know about painting cars but the gentleman there gave me some tips and some instructions step by step I took my car to a car show won first place thank you and my friend that use to work in Frankfort he pass away a couple of years I no if he was here he'll be proud of me I listen to him never gave up on my car thank you Sherwin Williams.”
