My wife and I came to Toyota Of Merrillville a few weeks ago and met with Grant about purchasing a new RAV4 Hybrid and he was anything but pushy nor trying to sell us into buying a more expensive model, he was very polite and explained how to go about the steps in getting the motion started in looking and/or ordering the vehicle. When we arrived to pickup the vehicle he was able to walk us through the process of buying the vehicle and explained how everything works and then he introduced us to Ron in finance who was very friendly and very professional as he processed all the paperwork and explained very thoroughly what the payments and coverage entailed. Thank you so much for getting us what we were looking for!

Went and purchased a car 2 days ago. First time Toyota buyer. The sales Charles was nice and friendly. The other sales that I initially work with did not have the temper and blows me off by not taking a deposit on the sienna. I had to call the dealer to get a new sales which was Charles. Then, the price went up $500 than the initially price which was emailed to me. Also, while talking to the financial advisor Shah and I was introduced with different coverage and warranty, I didn't have any interest buying them. He was upset/mad that I didn't buy any extended warranty and start being rude.The dealership purposely asked the salesman who blowed me off to show me the function of the car and the feeling was so strange, and the salesman definitely felt the same.The worse part was that after having the car for less than 24 hours, my right rear tire blowed up on a highway. I had never experienced it and could not believe it. The Illinois highway authorities helped me get off the highway and inspected the tire. He told me that he had seen a lot of cars and the tire looks really thin and was old too. That was the reason why the tire pressure went from 40 to 0 in 5 seconds. I had never had Toyota until 3 days ago, but it was not a good experience at all. I believed this was the sign of bad luck and actually wanted to return the car. After researching online, it doesn't seem like an option. Wish you all have a good luck for purchasing Toyota and should look for a dealer close to you at least.

I have been a Toyota of Merrillville customer for about 15 years. Everyone I've had the pleasure of speaking with from either sales or service have all been top notch. However, there is one particular Service Manager I regularly interact with who deserves special recognition. Rick Shaver consistently delivers stellar, friendly, and trustworthy service. From routine maintenance to logically addressing potential safety concerns, I've always appreciated his authentic and straight advisement. Thanks to Rick, my experiences have been nothing short of outstanding and I'll definitely continue to recommend Toyota of Merrillville to anyone.

Merrillville Toyota is an amazing dealership with the Best Customer Service! I have to mention the service manager Brian Dypkowski who went above and beyond for our family helping us with our vehicle! This dealership is very thorough and makes sure you feel confident with your vehicle after leaving it with them! They answer every question and follow up with anything and everything that is needed! Every employee that we have dealt with at this dealership has been great! I highly recommend this dealership!!

Extremely clean well stocked , state of the art facility. Dealership is staffed with professional & courteous employees. Service department makes you feel like part of their family. New vehicles are delivered in top condition , as they should. Will not be disappointed with any of there services. Highly recommended !

Mitch was very helpful in answering all of my questions and communicating any status updates to the arrival of my vehicle. Upon picking up my vehicle, Grant was very thorough showing me all of the features and helping me get everything set up. It was definitely worth the 4 hour round trip to this dealership! I was extremely nervous to buy my first car but luckily Mitch was my salesman! He was so helpful and awesome, he really made me feel at ease. I’ve heard buying a car can be a very stressful experience but thanks to Mitch and the team at Toyota Merrillville that was not the case for me! I love my new car!!

I found my dream car here!! I got a 2022 Prius & Demetri made that happen. He even stayed late to make sure I got everything handled. He was very professional & kind and made the process very easy. He went above & beyond to make sure I was able to get my extra key at my local dealership & threw in a free oil change & free car washes! He was very responsive even after my purchase & made sure I loved the car. I purchased in October 2023 and my car is running like a dream! Can't recommend them enough, very trustworthy.

After a few rounds of negotiation, I am a happy new owner of the exact 4Runner I have been looking for. Mitch was great at making sure I was well taken care of in this transaction. I just wanted to document what a phenomenal Service Manager David Orzechowicz is. My elderly mother brought her 2013 Toyota Corolla LE in recently because her dashboard lights were not functioning and because there was a service light/alert on her dashboard. David immediately fixed the issue and also facilitated the process of adding air to her tires. We were out of there in record time. From the minute I walked in, to the time we left, David was exceptionally patient with us, and he explained the problem so that we could prevent it in the future. My dad at times raises issues about the price of repairs at the dealership, but my mom and I are willing to pay for the exceptional service and safety /peace of mind that professionals like David O. Provide for us. Elite expertise coupled with unparalleled interpersonal skills, as exemplified by David, made for a truly priceless experience. I highly recommend this location!

Toyota of Merrillville set the bar across the board for a perfect customer experience. We only came in for an oil change on my husband's truck and I left with a car for myself because of Chad! From the moment I met Chad Foster on the lot he was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, not only about the vehicle itself, but in walking me through the entire process. My experience with Toyota on 30 was beyond pleasant. Chad Foster took care of me from the minute I walked in. He was kind, informative, and helped me from start to finish. I live about an hour and a half away and reached out to several dealerships. I was lucky and got connected with Mitch. I worked with Mitch and he was extremely helpful and fair with pricing. I am not looking to rob any dealerships but I am not looking to get robbed. I just wanted to buy a car at a fair price and that's what I got. He was straightforward and transparent from the start. We all know buying a new car right now (especially a Toyota and even more so the Rav4) is very hard right now. Mitch gave me a fair price and made the process easy. I ended up finding the exact car I wanted at Toyota Merrillville. Mitch communicated well and I would definitely recommend to friends and family to buy through Mitch.
