Alice at Merrillville Woodforest is always helpful when it comes to my account lol. She used to be at Portage walmart and now she is over at Merrillville walmart and I will continue to go wherever she is at for my account. Thank you for being so kind hearted and understanding.

Since I’ve banked with Wood-forest even those it’s only been a month, these Lovely Ladies from Lorraine, Kayla, Arie, Keke and Alice has made every visit and questions or concerns a great and sometimes a fun visit, God Bless and I hope they all have a Beautiful rest of the week

Stay FAR FAR AWAY. Opened a business account, all is good until 3 days later when the account is suspended. No one EVER called to tell me it Was, I found out when I check my account and see a $0 available balance. After being on hold forever i finally got to a person who tells me it was suspended because the BRANCH I OPENED it at did not scan my paperwork correctly and some of the information was cut off. So MY account is suspended because of an error made by an employee and I was never notified. Now it is 5 days later and my account is STILL suspended and STILL no one EVER Called me, I have to continually call in to them to get info and they always say itll be taken care of and someone will call you. So my business has not been able to conduct a SINGLE transaction for 5 days and they have nothing to say except oh now we need you to come in and open a new account. THIS IS THE WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.

I called to check hours. The phone system tells me to check the website. The website says it's open until two. I get here and closed. Thank you for wasting my time. Update your google hours. It's not that hard.

Website says it closes at 7 but I just got to the bank and it’s a sign that says close at 5 !!! Just drove 30 mins for it to be closed !

Worst Bank Ever!!! Every time I call I go Straight to voicemail no one ever calls me back. I Tried To Report My Card Lost Took Me 8 Hours To Reach Someone there. I even tried to call customer service no luck

Your bank is like the biggest piece of crap ever. Your hours are crap the debit card you issue isn't even a debit card it's a credit card that you can't use to pay 90% of any bills. you can't do instant transfer even if you connect it to any other accounts like simple or PayPal or venmo or qapital or Vero. Literally Theee MOST useless bank I have ever had the displeasure of letting earn interest off my money. Seriously. Shut down. But then again your in a Walmart so I guess the fact that this bank is completely useless other then hanging on to your money for you so you don't lose the cash well it's to be expected. So if you don't have a lot of money and you don't use the internet or have any other reason for something like an actual debit card you can pay bills with or an actual account you can instant transfer into or out of and if you have no other need out of your Finacial institution to do anything but basically be a piggy bank that causes you massive headaches, well then this bank is perfect for you.

I really like Woodforest Banks. Starting banking with them when I lived in Mississippi. So it's been over 10 years. Love the hours and the employees are very friendly and courteous, they know most of their customers by name. It's unfortunate there aren't more locations in the area. Thank you Woodforest and kudos to your employees!!

If I can give them no stars I would, terrible bank you ask question and you'd expect to be filled with answered but you DONT. One location for this bank and they have the nerve to say why I couldn't take money out their ATM??? If they close at 7 p.m ? Y'all location in Walmart? Not even near by 😅 ONE LOCATION THO
