This place is always a lot of fun. The owners are such great people. They make the experience so much better. I was very sad to see and hear that the town had been very slow this year. We enjoy our yearly visit for my daughter's birthday.

We offer an old time panning experience for families to pan for gemstones and fossils. Several size buckets available to meet everyone's budget. We have over 100 different gems and fossils in our mix to offer the best variety. We enclose and heat our sluicing area in the winter to remain open thru December. Inside you will find a 6 room gift shop with beautiful gem specimens and gifts from mild to wild! We also have a snack bar that offers our homemade italian ice, nachos pretzels, chips and drinks!
