Great first time experience. No picks to show, but i had the clam chowder and the salmon croquette. Both were yummy. Ill definately be back when i come to Michigan City again.

Nothing but top cheffing with fabulous quality going on here. Excellent service, extremely friendly staff and right on Lake Michigan. Checking all my boxes!!I followed chef Nicole here after experiencing, and now mourning the closing of, Bartlett’s in Beverly Shores… recently finding out she now owns this place. Next stop, her latest endeavor, the taken over Rt12 roadside bar, Joe Freddie’s!

The environment is so tranquil and quaint, truly gives off seaside vibes. You have a nice side view of Lake Michigan Harbor area. The service was amazing and our waitress rocked it, naming all of the daily specials. The food was good, we loved the oyster shooters and the cheddar and broccoli soup was great even though it was thin in texture. The gumbo wasn't necessarily a gumbo but more of an etouffee. The roux tasted very smokey and the homemade biscuits and eggs over easy stole the show. We also enjoyed the bottomless mimosas for $20 bucks. We'll be back to try the fish dip and fried clams.

Came to Fish camp for Friday Lent. Great menu. We had a couple of appetizers that were amazing. Go see Kim at the bar! She makes the best drinks and is genuinely invested in your experience. Fish Camp rarely disappoints. A NWI

Best Bloody Mary around.Had the oysters Rockefeller to start which were excellent. The bartender did not steer me wrong on the sandwhich special! Great view of Trail creek and the lake.

Chillin' at Bartlett's Fish Camp: A Seafood Adventure So, tonight my wife and I decided to dip our toes into Bartlett's Fish Camp over in Michigan City. Now, the joint's got a kinda scenic spot, but I gotta be real with you, a good chunk of your view is facing the Nipsco plant. Not exactly postcard material, if you catch my drift. We kicked things off with some pre-dinner cocktails - my wife went with a Mojito while I stuck to the classic gin and tonic - 3 limes. Gotta hand it to the bartender, friendly and speedy, and those drinks hit the spot. Now, onto the grub. We started with the chowder, a crowd pleaser according to the locals, and let me tell ya, it lived up to the hype. Flavorful and fresh, just the way you want it. For the main event, my wife dove into the jumbo scallops Parmesan risotto. Let me paint you a picture - presentation? Dynamite. Flavors? All on point. And as for yours truly, I kept it classic with the fish and chips. Fresh fish, crispy breading, and those fries? Crunchy perfection. And don't even get me started on their homemade tartar sauce - pure gold. Now, the menu's got a little somethin' for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for seafood, salad, pasta, or even just some buffalo wings, they've got you covered. And let's not forget the drinks - signature cocktails, wine, domestic and international beers, you name it. Oh, and they've got a kids menu too, for all you parents out there. Service? Fast, friendly, and attentive. Atmosphere? Gives off major traditional fishing community vibes, especially with its prime location across from the Michigan City Marina. And can we talk about cleanliness? Top-notch, my friends. No sticky bar tops in sight, thank goodness. And the restrooms? Immaculate. Now, they've got an outdoor deck and seating area, which I bet is killer in the spring and summer. Unfortunately, we're talkin' February in Northwest Indiana here, so that's a no-go. Finding the place might be a tad tricky if you're not familiar with the area, but once you spot that view, you'll know you're in the right spot. So, if you're craving some top-notch seafood, packed with flavor and served with a side of tradition, give Bartlett's Fish Camp a shot next time you're cruisin' through Michigan City. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Great restaurant, very authentic and very good. Great choice, low prices, the owner is very friendly and speaks French. In short, go for it!

Fresh. Friendly. Local. Tasty! These folks know what the customer seeks. In my opinion there is no better place for fresh outside of Chicago.
