Hearthside Food Solutions is a busy facility with a lot of activity inside. The shipping office is surrounded by dropped trailers, and employee cars are parked everywhere. The receiving docks are located on a steep downhill grade, so caution is needed when backing in to avoid catching the landing gear. Trailers must be clean before loading; if they are dirty, they will be rejected. While the staff is generally friendly and helpful, the process can be time-consuming, often taking 3 to 4 hours for loading or unloading. There are two shipping and receiving locations—one on US 20 and another on Ohio Street—each with their own procedures. The facility can be chaotic once inside, but with patience and care, the experience can be managed. There are no restrooms available during waiting times, and appointments are not strictly enforced. Overall, Hearthside Food Solutions is a place with a busy environment and helpful staff, but it requires patience from drivers.

Very solid advice from A.J. Hug the wall ( you will see people door 10) for receiving docks. Go slow while backing, your landing gear and aero faring will scrape a little.
