“They only have a few designs, but there are tons of color/style options for shirts and other apparel, and they all seem good quality. That said, they had no size smaller than Small. It would be great if they offered XS! More designs would be cool too. The shirt I got there is super comfy. Regular unisex T-shirts were about $30.”

Been going there for years and always look forward to my visit… I have t shirts, polos, jackets, shorts, slacks, sweatshirts, you name it from there not to mention all the things I bought for my daughters while they were in college and it’s all been real good..! Just stopped in again this past Sunday and Sarah was there and as usual she took care of me…! Can’t say enough good things about that store and the treatment you get there…! 5 STARS PLUS…!”

“Store is run by senior citizen volunteers who give their time in support of the church and school to which all profits are given. Hours of Friday and Saturday from 9:30 to 3:30 reflect that these dedicated people are solely volunteers. Please note that there is no elevator in the over 100 year convent to navigate the four floors of items. Restroom is available in the chapel upon request. Also note that due to the age of the building, upper floors temperature will vary each season. If you are susceptible to heat or cold plan your visit accordingly. Many items throughout the space as well as everything in the basement is 50% off. Credit cards are accepted with three percent fee. Lovely place to spend a few hours browsing.”

“This was the best clothes buying experience I’ve had in a long time. I needed to get some dress pants and a shirt for a presentation at school, and I had probably been to 5 stores in the last week trying to find something that fit well, looked good, and was affordable. I finally went to J Crew and immediately when I walked in the employees asked me what I was looking for. They helped me find the right size and type of pants and shirt, which had been a huge headache for me as a guy who never really buys dress clothes. I got everything for a great price, they have great discounts there right now. 10/10 experience, I will absolutely go back to this store next time I need dress clothes”

“Sales ladies couldn’t have been nicer! I was traveling through and thought I’d stop in. They let my dog join me because it was too hot in the car for her, so they scored sales instead of other stores! They were so helpful-even offered to order a pair of pants for delivery for only $5. They proactively asked if I was a teacher so I could get an additional discount, and I am! So, I showed them certification information which gave me another 15% off!

“This is an outlet store, so the items aren't the most current inventory found in the regular retail stores. Selection is somewhat limited and prices are ok, but less than the regular retail stores. No regular retail stores nearby. Otherwise nice store with an ok selection of items. Nice to see a return to some safari items in the store.”
“I went to Hot Topics in Michigan City, IN, today for a gift card. I read some of the reviews ahead of time so wasn’t sure what to expect.
I have to comment on Fritz review from several months ago. First of all, they with the goatee could not have been nicer or more helpful. And the fact that Fritz commented they must not like people with piercings! Laughable, considering the sales person to whom Fritz was referring to had piercings from head to toe.
I assume for they to call security, there had to have been another reason. The last thing a store wants to do is call in security. It was only causes a scene and scares the other customers. Was
BTW I am a 70 year old woman who would certainly feel welcome shopping in the store. And kudos to the sales person as they made shopping there a pleasant experience.”
“Picked up a baseball cap for a friends birthday and decided to get it customized.
Don’t know the guys name who took this project on but he did an AMAZING job! Stitching machine stopped and started many times due to metallic thread(?) but this guy stuck with it for the entire hour..
He did not get frustrated with the project, the company or try to deter me- just kept resetting the machine and apologized for the wait. I really appreciated his efforts as I needed it that day -AND HE MADE IT HAPPEN. Don’t know his name but he was a stocky guy with gray hair and mustache.
