Essenhaus Village Shops is a great place with a large variety of cute and well-laid-out specialty shops connected by a beautiful pathway. The selection at the quilt shop is beautiful, offering fabric, patterns, and rulers. There is a lovely hotel and grounds with a drive-through covered bridge. The bakery is a must for pies, cookies, and whoopie pies. It is a very relaxing place with outdoor benches, a glider, and a play area for kids. It is a nice after-dinner walk from the restaurant, perfect for browsing, though prices can be a little pricey with great sales. The location also features a fun summer car show and theatre. All shops are closed on Sunday. It is a beautiful place any season and is highly recommended.

Nice outdoor specialty shops connected by a beautiful pathway. I’m not a big shopper. While my wife shopped I enjoyed the outdoor benches and the glider. Very relaxing. There is also a play area for kids.
