I had another shop install a new transmission in my 1995 Rv. It lasted 3.5 years and 400 miles. Then it went out jut outside warranty. I took it to 2nd shift and Rafael had it back up and running in a week.
Now the rest of the story. Rafael could have just replaced the bad parts and sent it back, but he didn’t. He made sure that it was operating at peak pressures and that it was done right.
I recently took it on a 200 mile trip through hills and small towns and it has never shifted smoother and ran so quietly.
This was a huge blessing for our family and really appreciate Rafael for going the extra mile to repair a 30 year old RV.

We thought it was only the torque converter that was bad, but it turned out it was the transmission. :(
These guys rebuilt my transmission and replaced the rear main seal, which I also knew needed to be done for a fair price!
Now my truck runs great, and hopefully, I'll get another 300,000 miles out of her!

Second Shift put a new horn in my car about 2 or three years ago. After a couple months it went out again. I took it to a wonderful mechanic name Mike H. He took everything apart and it was a shoddy job that was done. Used parts were put in and the wiring wasn’t connected right. It took close to a hour and forty minutes for him to locate and fix the messed up job Second Shift has sone. I believe the mechanic at your shop who worked on my car was John at the time. I paid 280 plus dollars for the horn to only work 2 months. Not having a horn is a hazard ⚠️. Thank God I found a honest mechanic who knows what he’s doing. Second Shift was good at one time. I don’t know what happened.

I have always been hesitant to let others work on my vehicles. But, they came very highly recommended and I was not disappointed. I don't usually recommend businesses. But, these folks genuinely care and they're very pet friendly. A+++++

Mr. Lopez, an upright businessman, yesterday provided me with a positive experience at 2nd Shift Automotive. When my car started emitting a high-pitched noise from the front, I suspected it might be a problem with the bearings, similar to a previous issue with the rear ones. Upon inspection, he reassured me that nothing was wrong, even giving the tires a thorough check. As he promised, the noise disappeared, and everything functioned smoothly. He said it might be leaves stuck somewhere making the noise. He even rode with me to ensure that I do not hear the noise anymore. Overall, it was another pleasant experience at 2nd Shift Automotive.If i had chosen a different auto service and mentioned the potential bearing problem, they might have proceeded to bill me for a bearing replacement without further examination.Since last year when I first discovered this auto repair shop, I've chosen it over Midas, Firestone, and Zoleman's. I plan to keep coming here for my car needs.

Great experience and very pleased with break work I han done on my truck. I have used 2Cd Shift Auto before and once again they exceeded my expectations. Service was quick and I felt repair price was fair and reasonable . And these people are Honest in their dealings. That's alot to say about a repair shop AND hard to find in today's markets. So what can I say except give these guys a call the next time you need a oil change OR a major car repair. Very Happy Dan.

Vehicle fixed one day ahead of schedule for a considerable amount less than expected. Friendly staff. Excellent service that is hard to find these days. I will definitely go back.

Everyone there is very friendly and Rafael is clearly knowledgeable. He tells you what is wrong and how he can fix it so it cost you the least. He understands how it feels to be hit with a car repair bill so helps out when and how he can. I also called him to double check advice I was given from a engine check light and he broke it down to me way better than the other guys. I totally trust his advice over other places. He'll always be my first call when something goes wrong.
