Wanted info on having my car towed to A Plus for some repairs... had previously (within a month) had some work done by a dealer service department and their mobile location service... not happy with them so having my car back to some I know and trust.

I took my car to A pllus auto because blinkers stopped working on my car. And wind shield wiper would only work on high. After countless hours of trying to fix the problem, the module in the steering column was discontinued to fix the problem. Not A plus auto but from the manufacturer!
Because they couldn’t fix it they didn’t charge me dime. That’s unheard of these days. The honesty and integrity that they convey to their customers is pure kindness. I would recommend this place as a five star place to take your car to get fixed. They are so kind and friendly and you can tell that they care in customer care to their clients. And they will not screw you over! Tell Todd and Val I sent you there! You will not be disappointed!

I dropped my mom's car here to have an exhaust leak checked out. About an hour later Todd called me and asked me to come back to the shop and go over the repair estimate. When I arrived he still had the car on the rack and took the time to show me exactly what was going on and what needed to be done to make it right. We put a deposit down for the parts, which were specially ordered. Within the week, the parts arrived and the following Tuesday my mom dropped her car off. A-Plus replaced the entire exhaust system at the quoted price for less than the cost of a catalytic converter. Val and Todd took great care of my mom, which I am very grateful for. If you are having car trouble and want an honest and affordable assessment, I highly recommend giving the team here at A-Plus a shot.

I had just bought my car when the AC started acting up. The dealer I got it from initially refused to check it, so I brought it to A-Plus Auto Service. They gave me a quote—better than any other shop nearby—and started looking into it. But while they were checking it, the dealer called and said they’d take care of it after all. Instead of insisting I finish the repair with them or charging me, A-Plus told me to go ahead and take it back to the dealer to save some money. I really appreciate that kind of honesty. This team is trustworthy and reliable, and if I ever need work done again (hopefully not!), I’ll definitely be coming back.

Our long time car mechanic retired and steered us to A+ Auto for the care of our vehicles a few years ago. We like to keep cars and our two 15 year old Chevy’s have continued great care here!

Hi again it's me today I was at APlus Auto,last night my car lied to me and told me I needed oil What I said no way just had an oil change from here a month ago so I checked my oil and it showed nothing on the dipper hahahaha APlus saw I wa distraught about the oil they were so nice about it checked everything oil and all was good 😊 you see I am 69 years old and have bad eyes and the oil is almost clear hahahaha anyway they made my day better please seniors bring your car here A-Auto service will not disappoint you .

I went to get a diagnostic done on my vehicle from Aplus. After being told that the receptionist sends alof of her friends there because she knows for a fact they wont run you into the ground just because I'm a woman (red flag there) but I trusted her.. BIG MISTAKE. They charged me 175$ to get the diagnostic and to replace my one brake light. Once quoted repairs, they told me parts and labor comes out to 949$. Only to find the next day my other brake light was missing and not working. I also did the part research on what I needed per the diagnostic and I was quotes 749$ in labor without a mechanic discount!!!!!! DO NOT waste your hard earned money here.

I bought a used minivan this summer for a cross country road trip. Within days, a check engine light popped up. Mike and the team at A-Plus Auto were instrumental in diagnosing, advising, and repairing the issue, as well as providing a pre-trip inspection that really set my mind at ease before my trip. Their service is punctual, efficient, thorough, communicative, friendly, and reasonably priced. A-Plus Auto has earned its place as my go-to mechanic in Mishawaka.

Wanted to try a place closer to home for present/future auto repair needs. Took my q5 to get the part of the exhaust pipe reattached back on (exhaust sleeve connector had rusted off). Quoted me a whopping $350+ to get it fixed coz apparently some custom work was to be done. Ended up taking it to another shop that charged me $80!
Needless to say, first and last time venturing into this place. Coz in addition to the absurd estimate, they bagged $50 for supposed hosting of the vehicle. Though a little bend of the knee would have sufficed to see the issue. Not cool. F minus!
Edit to response: 1. My car was dropped off overnight for next day. so it wasn’t a rush request. And no, the pipe wasn’t “dragging on the ground” as I had secured it before dropping off
2. Absolutely no pictures were sent to me for review. Maybe another customer’s number
3. These costs (eg. For Hoisting up the vehicle/diagnostics) should be mentioned to the customer up front not after the fact.
P.S: it’s pretty bold to assume a band aid repair due to lower cost.
