Indiana's best bike shop. Well except for new haven bicycles.

I don't remember the gentleman that assisted us with my 2 grandkids bikes. He went above & beyond! Quick, friendly service!

I learned a few new things about my bike today thanks to the awesome staff. I have driven/walked/rode past this business for 35 years and finally stepped foot in today. ☺ I was immediately welcomed and had the opportunity to explain my situation. Received some awesome insight and knowledge. Great place if you need help with your bike. Definitely my go to when I am in town visiting from Indy.

I have been an Albright's customer for at least 50 years, bought lots of bikes there, had lots of bikes repaired there. I bought a new bike back in March (2023), I test rode it on a cold and windy day so I did not ride very far. I bought it anyway. It was windy, snowy and rainy for the first few weeks, so I did not ride it. I bought the wrong bike, my fault, I did not test it enough and then I did not return it in the first week, even though the manufacture's website said I had 30 days to return it, and I had it more than 30 days. Again I am the one to blame here. However, Albright's refused to work with me, told me to sell it and come back and buy another new one. So, I went to a bike store in Elkhart, and they bought my used bike, gave me a really generous price, gave me a small discount on the new bike, and a free water bottle and holder. FYI, I test rode the new bike for a long test ride. I love my new Trek Verve 3, it's a great bike.

Was planning on buying a bike. Went inside and was the only person in the store with 3 people working. It tooks 5 minutes for somebody to offer to help me or ask if I had any questions, which I did. I had been here multiple times in the past couple months narrowing down which bike I wanted to buy, and had every intention of buying a Giant bike from this store. The sales guy eventually went into a back room and was whispering to his associate about selling me a bike, and eventually made a pitch at selling me a bike that was on the floor, that was specifically not the size I was going for, but attempted to pursuade me that it was the right size for me. It was all very shady and unappreciated. I bought a bike from the Trek store instead and the sales guy there was very helpful.

Was planning on buying a bike here. I went inside and was the only person in the store with 3 men working. It took over 5 minutes for anyone of them to ask if I had any questions or if I needed any help with anything, which is astonishing considering how not busy the place is. Once I finally got helped the sales guy tried to pitch me a bike that I told him wasn't going to work for me, but he continued to try to pursuade me that it was the right fit. His only intention was to lower his own inventory and get rid of a bike off of his floor. I should have read these reviews before going there in the first place. Will never be back, and have no idea how this shop stays in business.

So, I just had a great experience at Albright's. I recently bought a bike (brand unknown) to trek to/from work -- it's 8.3 miles one-way. This morning, I'm a mile from my destination and my chain begins slipping in/out of gear; the culprit: loose cassette. I do not have any other transportation available to get me to/from work -- I'm panicked. I can't afford to take a Lyft or Uber more than a day or two. So, I'm playing with it at work with some tools and I can't figure out why it's loose. Later this morning, I begin calling around to local bike shops and I'm explaining the problem as best I can and everyone was nice but they kept telling me a week or more to get any fixes done. UGH! I call Albright's and they tell me, right now, a couple days to a week, depending on the issue. Well, they're the closest to where I live, so it makes sense to go there. That, and considering their the shortest turnaround time. So, after work, I take the city bus to Albright's and I walk in to a friendly gentlemen named Drew. Two seconds later, I'm met my his friendly Labradoodle. He stopped, whatever it was he was doing, to immediately take a look at my bike. So, he just dives right in as I explain all the things I tried to do to fix it. I don't have much of a disposable income. So, the whole time, I'm wondering what's wrong and how much. Well, as I'm releasing my anxiety through mutual adoration of his fine dog, he's continues working on my bike. (I actually made it worse tweaking with it at work). For 10 or 15 minutes, he's plugging away and I take a spin around the store to look at their inventory. They're well stocked for whatever you need, btw. I head back and he's done and the bike is fixed. It didn't need actual parts but it did need some TLC. (This bike was bought off craigslist last week, so I don't know what all it needed or how old it was, etc. I just knew it looked good and it rode well in a circle, when I bought it) I can't even begin to tell you the relief I felt when I knew I had my ride to work tomorrow. Then, I ask him the big question; "what's the damage"? He tells me 'it's all good'. I was dumbfounded and overwhelmed with gratitude. I have $60.00 to my name until payday, tomorrow. I was thinking, the whole time, if I don't have enough to cover repairs, I'll have to leave the bike and come back later this week. Well, Drew, thank you. Your expertise and professionalism are far above and well beyond what I expected or have even experienced in any other customer experience I've had in a very, very long time. You have a customer for life!

I’ve had several great experiences at this local shop. Bought a Giant Escape for my son and a Giant StanceE for myself in the past few years. Had a warranty issue with a tire and they took care of it right away and provided me a brand new tire free of charge. They also tuned up my son’s Trek mountain bike and it shifts better than new. Whether it’s a new bike, water bottle, tubes, or whatever, this place is my first stop. I like that it’s family owned and operated. Highly recommended.

Great shop. They’ve helped me with a lot of things over the past two years, and today they very quickly took care of my flat tire so I could get back to the Urban Adventure Games.

Good people, good place to buy or service a bike. This place has been around a long time for good reason. Just had the shifters replaced on my grandson's bike, works great.

Absolutely would recommend this bike shop! I just got a flat on my ride. I stopped in and they were able to work me right in! They were fast, efficient, and polite. The guy working on my bike noted that my handlebars were not evenly flat and he straightened those out too! I had a couple questions about tires and pressure and how to correctly fill them. They answered all my questions. I'm very happy!! I will be in again for a tune up and to recommend others here. Thank you for your help!
