Address given was for South bend airport for pickup. I got dropped off there and informed that they weren't open as building was being renovated. Had to get another ride to a different location where another customer also had to get dropped off by a cab. They said this happens all the time.

The pink haired trashy lady is rude, unprofessional, and just nasty to people. The car was the wrong vehicle, it was dirty, smelled of smoke/weed, soda was all over the rear seat, only a quarter tank of fuel. Won't be back for a vehicle but I'm going to make sure this location is shut down. Plus I called budgets Corporate and got my money back.

Terrible. No explanation, advice, help or suggestions why my reservation was allowed to go through when they didn't evenhave any vehicles in stock.Just a rush out the door since they were closing in 7 minutes.

DO NOT GO HERE! The lady at the Mishawaka location does not want to help you! We have rented multiple times from the South Bend location and the people were always nice and helpful and we never had any issues. But this woman in Mishawaka has screwed us twice now. We booked our vehicle last night on our debit card (which is what we’ve always done and never had an issue) we get there to pick up the car today and she tells us we need to put it on a major credit card… how? We already payed the deposit on our debit card. We always use our debit card. This place is called BUDGET why do I need a major credit card all of a sudden? She says if we book for longer than one day then we can use a debit card. So if it’s MORE expensive we can use our debit card?? That makes zero sense. So when we try to jump through her hoops she then says “well we also now need a second form of ID”… since when??? Mind you we’ve never had any trouble at the other location and we booked in advance! It became clear to us that this lady really just does not want to do her job. I can’t see anyone having a good experience as long as she’s in charge. If you’re reading this, save yourself a bad day and go somewhere else.

Drop off office outside airport gates was closed when we arrived to return it. Found a hand-written sign to drop off inside airport or at Mishawaka location. We dropped vehicle and took keys to the airport location but they did not process the return and now we are getting badgered with notices threatening legal action, our credit card has been charged with >$1,000 in fraudulent charges, and the agent at the airport office refused to help. "You came on a Sunday, why would you expect a manager to be here?" Told me to call manager Tim or Tyron, but in the multiple times I call Mishawaka office, it goes straight to their international call center.I've documented that the minivan has been sitting right in front of their office for two weeks.Stay far away from this company.Oh, and two tires were bald when they rented it to us.

If there is minus option I will go with that... I request don't rent from here... There are several others Hertz, enterprises are really good. This budget and avais are wrost they will charge unnecessary amount whith no explanation and if you ask they just say its policy. Don't go here if you love your money...

It was awful! I had reserved a car a few days in advance to go to a neighboring city for an event with my son. I bought tickets and paid for parking here and there. I barely made it there because there was a game in town, and the buses didn't pass through the campus. I ended up walking on the sidewalks for more than an hour. Unlike in Europe, if you don't have a car here, you won't get anywhere at all. Then, just ten minutes before I was supposed to pick up the car, I received a call saying that there was no car available! They suggested I go to the airport to get one there. When I asked how I was supposed to get to the airport, they told me to take an Uber, which cost more than my car rental... I tried to get there by bus, but it was a futile endeavor, so I canceled my reservation. Never go to this company again.

ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!! The absolute WORSE establishment to rent a vehicle from please take your hard earned money elsewhere! Staff are extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. I have no idea how or why this business is allowed to operate and rob their customers while treating them horribly.

Went here twice. The second time they had to chage my car as the one I reserved was unavailable. However, they gave me a van for the same price as the sedan I booked.Beware this is a relatively small car rental, if someone decides to keep their rented car for an additional day, it is possible that they will have to change your reservation (it can't be prevented by the staff).Staff are very friendly

Didn’t rent a car from here, but had a wonderful customer service experience with Sheere on the phone. She answered the phone (which never happens) and, although she was unable to help us switch out our vehicle, she took the time to call the counter direct line to confirm a vehicle was at another location for us. She understood how difficult it can be to have an uncommon issue with a rental and to try and talk to someone on site. Thank you!

My mom works there, she's great at her job. Come here to rent a car, nowhere else. Very clean and good cars, and friendly staff.

If you're a person of color do not enter this office under any circumstance!!! Tim verbally confirmed my return day intentionally providing misleading information. Sheree cursed hollered and screamed at me when I tried to return the vehicle. She stated she'd charge me for two extra days if I didn't get there within two minutes I informed her of my ETA she hung up and refused to answer. I had to call from a friend's phone she screamed and hung up again. She's the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL employee I've EVER dealt with anywhere!!!!!! She looks bad and smells worse. Upon entering this office you're bombarded and smacked in the face with such unpleasant stench, I almost walked right back out. Please shut down this location they're are living out of it and giving Budget a horrible reputation.

If I could give this experience ZERO stars I would. I rented a car on a Saturday at noon and I was supposed to be returning it that same night in Saint Louis at 10pm at a drop box. I prepaid on line and paid around $110.00. I was going to be cutting the time close and the rental company was not open on Sunday, so I contacted the Saint Louis location and they informed me I would be fine to drive the car back to Indiana and return it where I picked it up. I returned the car around 3PM on Monday to the same location where I picked it up and it was at that time I was informed they were trying to charge me a total of $820 for this whole incident. I feel as though this whole company is a scam. I have rented many cars before and I have never in my life been charged $257 PER DAY for a rental car. I do not recommend this place. DO NOT GET SCAMMED.
