This store is gross! It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in forever. Diaper on the bathroom floor, no soap in the women's restroom, and there is trash everywhere as soon as you walk in. I understand they might be short staffed but at least clean!

Every time I travel through Mishawaka to South Bend I prefer to shop at this Kroger. The location is convenient because it is on the main thoroughfare. The gas prices are decently low. I shop the sales for groceries. If you know the layout of each Kroger store it helps you to navigate quickly inside. Yes, this is definitely an older store, but this tells me that its capital expenses and monthly rent are fairly low. Kroger passes this savings on to the customer and I appreciate that. I also see the salt of the earth people shopping at this Kroger and I appreciate this too. The items are not overpriced and when I scout out an employee to assist me, most of the time they are very helpful. I would hate to lose this store. It serves a certain sector of people we need.

THIS STORE IS DANGEROUS! I counted 7 people not wearing masks 3 of which were employees! And this isn't including all the people with their masks halfway over their face. There is no hand sanitizer available, carts are NOT being cleaned, nor the self checkout between customers. People are NOT maintaining safe distances. I have found the same alarming situation at this location twice this week. Outside of COVID, this store is gross. It smells bad, the products are dirty and in disarray, and the glass has old thick finger prints all over it. I will not be returning.

Ok first let me say I am getting so sick and tired of this Kroger it's getting VERY annoying second time this month going in and not a cart in the store I see employees standing around talking to each other while I grab a basket because standing around talking is more important then doing their job and collecting carts I had to carry a basket filled with heavy cans while some rude guy hit my basket with his cart and damn near ripped the basket off my arm and DIDNT even say sorry then the check out lines are long because they only have one or maybe two open for people with more then 10 items which I had to go use self checkout during covid where you have to touch the screens that everyone else has touched before me and no one cleans them between customers then it's a hassle going to your car because not one not two but three times I have been stopped by people asking me for money I only go to this location because it's convenient but pretty sure I won't go back to many lazy workers rude customers and junkies asking for money

When I bought mixed greens from Kroger, and they were not past their printed expiration date. Thirty minutes after buying them, I realized that they were very obviously bad. The lettuce smelled and tasted disgusting. I went to the store the next day to return the item or to get a refund. Understandably, they weren't excepting any returns due to COVID-19. However, they also refused to give me back my money for the far-from-fresh lettuce they sold me. That isn't acceptable!

Came here at prime hour of people to go grocery shopping multiple times now and only have ONE lane open and employees are just standing around and talking to other employees. Will NEVER come here again. I would rather go out of my way and go to another store.

I really just shop here because it's close enough to home and I don't have to deal with the crowds at Meijer. But it's an older store and it shows. They are also chronically understaffed: produce, dairy/eggs, soda sections are typically well-picked-over during peak shopping hours. This is a bigger problem here than any other grocery store I've been to in town, and I've been to all the chains multiple times in the several years I've lived here. The prices are typically pretty decent. Sometimes the checkout lines are long. And one thing they do that is really annoying is that they will have only self check-out lines open, at any given time of day, not just off-hours. It can be really frustrating. The ladies I've checked out with are always super sweet though. Even when they are frustrated at the sometimes poor management and understaffing, they put on a good face. Which I suppose is good for the company but not good for employee retention.
