DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR CONTRACTORS. Contacted Home Depot for a large bathroom remodeling project. They only use S.I.R. Home Improvements as their contractor. The customer service is horrible. It's been excuses and poor if any communication. Do your research on the companies and contact them yourself so you don't get stuck canceling your contractor 2 days before your start date because no one knows what's going on including the owner.Service: Home renovations

I am trying to build a fence when I went there a guy that came and do quoting for fence basically told me they dont have nothing in stock until April and nothing could get order from the internet are you serious ?

I went to the store to see if they had a bird bath and was told that they are available on line only so I placed the order on May 23 and was notified that it would be ready to pick up on May 30. I tracked the item on the Home Depot website and saw that it was delivered to the store on May 30 so I called to see if I could pick it up. I was first told that the item wouldn't be in until June 3 but when I pointed out that their website said that it was already there I was told that the items hadn't been processed through receiving yet so I should wait until the next day and call to see if it was available then. This isn't the first time I've had an experience like this. In fact, I once ordered a toilet that I had to cancel because only the bowl came in and they never got the tank. This isn't the same Home Depot that existed several years ago.

Ordered a patio furniture set online at a sale price and after delivery date was pass due found out set had been shipped elsewhere and set was no longer available. Asked if we wanted refund or another set but that Home Depot would only honor New set up to $800 when the set we ordered was $1150. Hardly seems right considering we didn't do anything wrong and clearly wanted that set. Clearly unacceptable and Customer service needs to take care of. Looks like Lowe's will now become my new store. I can't recommend Home Depot when they treat customers this way. UNBELIEVABLE !

Cannot usually find someone to help you during the week. Went to buy some flowers to decorate tables for a party. Found the flowers but could not find the small plastic pots to put them in. Asked the lady at register and she was dumbfounded. Showed her a plant that was in a pot like I wanted. She didn't offer to look or ask anyone else. She was not a young person and expected her to be more helpful. No one else in the place. Lots of stuff in aisles so it was hard to get around.

We did the window birdhouse kids workshop. It was free so that was great! It was fun but i was told they would get an apron for the event so i didn't worry to much about the outfit she wore. Once we get there and set up her project. I was told that they don't have any apons. I didn't think it was a huge deal until we got the point of painting the birdhouse. She got paint on her Under Armour winter coats and her brand new Moana shirt which i treated immediately and it still will not come out. So yes it was a free event but probably cost me over $60 in ruined clothes.

Very disappointed tonight. The Home Depot is normally our go to for all of our business needs. Tonight we asked to speak to a manager regarding an issue. Leann, the on duty manager, didn't make eye contact, didn't acknowledge me or ask what the issue was, she only addressed her employees who were not the issue. They pride themselves on their core values including excellent customer service, "taking care of our people", and building strong relationships, etc.. Management should be the example, but her behavior and lack of customer service didn't seem to surprise her employees.

I have to say that I'm very surprised to be writing this review. Historically, Home Depot employees are almost helpful to a fault. This location tends to be a little different. I have, on more than one occasion, stopped by this location and gone unassisted. On my last trip, I was looking for a light fixture to replace the hideous one in a spare bedroom. I had questions, but figured the person assigned to the area would be able to help. I walked in, found the electrical section, and started browsing. To my surprise, there was either no one in the section or they were hiding. I walked around a bit, headed down the main aisle, and saw a few employees. They, unfortunately, were too involved in their conversation to notice me. I went back to the section, still no one. The one silver lining was the very nice cashier that greeted me, once I'd already decided to head home.

Went to the paint section where an older gentleman was extremely helpful by showing me the different kids of paint and telling me which would best suit my needs. There was a plethora of colors to satisfy any paint need. I found the books for the different colors helpful bc it gave me ideas on which color would look best in my room with the color of my sheets and decor. I also found some of the supplies for my Pinterest crafting ideas there. All in all it was an amazing trip and I only spent $100 on everything (including a step ladder). I will be back next week to get colors for my living room.

Great experience today. Someone greeted me at the door to show me directly where to go (instead of wandering the aisles), followed by an associate who came over and helped me google all the answers to the questions I had that were not answered on the box. And upon checkout an associate at the Pro Desk helped me unbox my purchase to double check it when I noticed a possible oil leak in the packaging. It was quick, seamless and a rarity in customer service now adays. Will absolutely return.

Workers here are always willing to assist you with what you need and friendly at checkout. Returning items is no hassle as well. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that they didn't have what I was looking for at the store. They had keyboard/drawer sliders listed online but did not have any in store.

My dad ordered a shed. It was suppose to be delivered on thursday. It is saturday and still not hear. Everyday they have said its on the truck. Everyday they have said its out for delivery. Everyday they have been wrong. I believe the store managers name was Tammy who has yet to apologize, however she does understand. 5 people sitting around for 3 days of a holiday weekend is unacceptable. This is the third time people in my family have had Home Depot delivery issues. While Tammh admitted she knew of communication issues in their system, she did not explain why the problems of the past have not been corrected. Needless to say we have addes Home Depot to our boycott list.
