Jan is a miracle worker. When the house we were buying wasn’t ready at the Sunday night walk through for Monday morning close and move in, she immediately got to work. Within hours, she was able to get multiple workers out to keep our close and move on schedule. Her knowledge of the market and localresources is worth its weight in gold, especially in this competitive market.

My family was driving in our car when you blew a stop sign coming out of a house subdivision, pulled right in front of us in your real estate lettered vehicle. Then, without regard to any other drivers on the road you slowed to a near stop in the middle of the road and almost caused an accident to happen because you refused to use a signal. We had to slame our brakes and swerve. You then turned off the main road without signaling. My husband even called the number on your vehicle and told you that was so dangerous.. Your response was a very not sorry sounding apology. "Sorry about that" you said. I wasn't going to post a written review. Just a one star for your terrible driving, IN A LETTERED VEHICLE, With your name in it. I figured I should post this because you could have killed or hurt my family that day. I hope we are the family that you learn to be more aware of your surroundings and slow down enough to respect laws of the road.

Jan worked with us to purchase a lot in an area where it is difficult to find a lot with city water and sewer and most of the work was done while we were out of town to try to buy it. She was very efficient and the process of making the offer and getting it accepted went very smoothly despite being out of town.

Jan did a wonderful job marketing and selling our home. Jan’s knowledge of the market provided the input we needed to successfully sell our home in one day with multiple offers.

Unbelievable, unprofessional, rude, negative, invasion of privacy, not understanding, and completely one sided are just a few terms to describe our time spent with Jan Lazzara. She was supposed to be representing both buyer and seller but was completely one sided with the buyer, absolutely no help on the sellers end. In fact, she was a complete bully and manipulative of her profession to us. I cannot believe all the stress and anxiety she has caused through this whole process to my entire family. Not to mention, my home was for sale by owner and she was to just handle paperwork between us and the buyer and she claimed she sold my house! She hasn’t even seen my house! We did all the dirty work for this transaction, even having to reschedule inspections because she was scheduling them and then not telling us about them so we were unavailable and unprepared. She was having random people show up wanting into my home without telling me, while I was home with a 1 month old baby, alone! (We still lived here the home was not vacant and she was very aware of my situation.) People looking into my windows, showing up and taking pictures of my house with no permission, and completely invading our privacy. She will push for you to use her cleaning company, and her contractor, making it seem as if she gets a cut of their pay. If you decide not to use them and use your own, she will make sure you know the home is not up to her standards. Even though it is professionally taken care of. Seems as if she is mad she isn’t profiting off of you even MORE. She will degrade you and make you feel less of, if one minor inconvenience comes up. I have dealt with many realtors as my family is in the house flipping business and I can say by far I have never met someone or dealt with someone whose main goal is to make you feel like you are not good enough to even associate with her. I have absolutely nothing good to say about our time spent dealing with Jan, besides that I am SO happy it’s over.

I have known Jan for over 35 years. She is an extremely positive person with a “get it done” approach. She has sold several houses for me and in each case she got us what we wanted quickly. The best in Michiana.

Jan understood our requirements with just one visit to a location, sourced appropriate homes and met us promptly to show us around personally. It made the whole experience much less stressful, time was used well and what could have taken months was reduced to one week. It was just so easy to do and Jan kept us fully involved at every step even through to the signing. I have no hesitation in recommending Jan and her team.

We were made to feel like trailor trash. We had our home for sale in Knollwood Park Villas about 3 years ago.Our homes, which we had for sale within a ten year span, all sold furniture and all because the homes showed like model homes.I'm not saying this to brag, I take great pride in my design work as I have been a designer for more than 15 years in Granger, Indiana and now Cape Coral. Our realtor, was Tim Murray. The interested buyer for our home was represented by Ms. Lazarra. The home showed beautifully and the new owner bought a houseful of furniture which I gave him a great deal on and looked like a model on the day we moved out. It was meticulously clean. On the day of closing, Ms. Lazarra and new owner toured the home we moved out of and was late for the closing. When she and the new buyer finally arrived, she came over to us and said the new owner was disappointed because the house was "dirty"!Our jaws dropped and of course told her we went above and beyond to prepare for the new owner to move in.Ms. Lazarra then told us to "follow my lead" during the closing process. She told us that it would be good to offer the new owner a cleaning credit at the table! In her words, she said it would cost $800.00 to clean the house!!!!!Unbelievable!! Our realtor did nothing to come to our aid!So, unfortunately as not to mess up the sale, we offered $200.00.My banker at the time says MS. Lazarra has a history of doing this.$800.00 for a cleaning???? Someone is getting a kick back.If we had a chance to do this all over again, we would have stopped the closing and said "deal is off" as we in no way were desperate for a sale. A doctor wanted the house badly but MS. Lazarra was adamant to get the house for her friend. There is no 2 sides to this story as all our homes are impeccably spotless.Yes it has been 3 years since this sale and it bothers me that she made us look like "dirty" people. So, I just want to give people a heads up about this ploy!!
