“I needed to have stitches taken out from a dermatologist removal of a mole on my lower leg. I didn't want to travel 600 miles back to the doc who performed the proceedure; I first called Beacon urgent care at Lighthouse n they told me they would not remove stitches, that I needed to the ER. Ridiculous! I then called Physicians Urgent Care, made an appt for an hour later, only waited 10 minutes n was called back to a room. The nurse n NP were both very professional. They soaed the wound area to soften the stitches, making them easier to pull out. The NP was very careful pulling them explaining the process n my wound as she worked. She applied adhesive strips to pull the skin together and even gave me several strips to take home. I couldn't be happier with the staff and my treatment, I will definitely go back if I need an urgent care. Highly recommend!!”

“Made an appointment and was taken care of at that time by Cindy. She was very good and friendly. I’ve never had a time that I had to wait with an appointment. So if you can, make an appointment. When you walk in, have your drivers license or state ID available to scan in the check-in machine. After scanning, follow the prompts and answer the questions. This is the way the techs know you are in the waiting room. The lab techs have always been efficient.
One of the positives is after the LabCorp mobile phone app is downloaded, you will receive a notification in one, two, or three days depending upon what blood test was ordered. You may check your own labs on the LabCorp app sometimes far in advance of the doctor contacting me. Love the LabCorp app!
