I just got off the phone with someone who was very rude. I was checking on a prescription that I put a request in on several days ago (controlled substances so you cant just refill you have to request a refill from you provider first) and have received multiple confirmation text from my PCP that it has been sent in, well it is not in Meijer's system. The employee told me she has no idea what requesting a prescription through their website does, but I need to request a refill from my doctor. I informed her i did that a several days ago and I have received 2 different confirmation text from my doctor. She said they could have sent it to the wrong pharmacy, I did tell her my confirmation had this store listed as the pharmacy. She then said then my doctor's system must be messed up, because that has to be the problem. She did not try to resolve the issue, just said me and doctor needs to figure it out. Her tone and attitude towards me was unprofessional. This is the last straw, my family will be finding a different pharmacy.

When I call first thing when you open, to get help. You take my number, say you'll call me back. 4 hours go by, so I call Meijer pharmacy back, for someone to basically tell me they are too busy to help me and to come in(between wording and their tone). I ask why I didn't get a phone call back, they couldn't give me an answer. The reason I asked, is bcuz it's unprofessional to forget about a customer, so you could possibly figure out where I was dropped along the way, so this doesn't happen to anyone else but nope. So now when I come in, I have to wait even longer, when they literally had all day to figure this out. I understand there are people ahead of me in the physical store, but I was ahead of everyone at 10am.... I literally gave them a head start..... They asked me if I could come back tomorrow? Why would I come back tomorrow, when I didn't even want to be here in the first place, especially grape road traffic on a Saturday. And on top of it, I'm having allergic reactions after allergic reaction, so why would I want to stay in this establishment any longer than I have to. It literally makes no sense how the pharmacy people can't act like decent human beings and actually do something. When I first came into the store, I was pawned off to the pharmacist by a tech, which then the pharmacist pawned it off to a tech who said they couldn't even do it. It's unfortunate that not one employee knows how to help each other get through the day and figure it out together, but no, just let everyone be confused without ASKING FOR HELP and make someone wait here. I don't have help, I have to go to the store myself, so there was no way out of this.

Normally people are very friendly, not this last time.
Alyssa was one of the rudest people I have dealt with at a pharmacy.
Very dismissive and rude. Rethink this hire.

communicate when you have the most important part of your grocery section closed off, and have a little empathy for the shoppers who need them. very poor customer service

I love the clothing at Meijer, but it makes absolutely no sense, to not have fitting rooms! Why have the fitting rooms been removed? How is someone expected to buy clothing if they can’t even see if the product fits ? This has prevented me from shopping for clothing there.

Never any shopping carts inside. And customers use the shop and go to ring up an entire cart of groceries. The employees just stand around and do nothing to solve either problem

Rudest pharmacist or tech. Was on way home hoping to pick up my daughter's Dexcom device. Was told it would be an hour. I told them I can be there in 5 minutes, and they repeated it'll be ready in an hour.An hour for them to print a label and hand me a box and make a ton of money on our diabetic supplies for my type 1 diabetic child. Guess some other pharmacy deserves those BCBS insurance comps. Nobody wants to stand around for an hour to be handed a box after a 16 hour work shift when they have to be back to work soon again.

Slow service, miserable employees & absurd hold times when calling. Had better luck at Meijer pharmacy on Bremen. Don't bother with this location. I know there are issues with short staffing across the country and especially in the health sector but I could run a better pharmacy in my sleep.
