Multiple outages often. Currently experiencing an outage that has been going on for over 24 hours. It’s a pretty occurrence, and when you call customer service, they refer you to a website, which you can’t get on, because the internet service is down.

As a new customer, I have been very pleased with the service they have provided. The day of installment..AJ was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They're affordable and have a great customer service team. I have been referring them to everyone!

Don't do it!! Fair service tho it jammed a lot. $77 bucks a month for basic and I wanted to cancel because I hardly use it. David, customer service told me I had to ship modem to the 'local office' or drive there - to have my service disconnected. Mitchell Indiana office is over 60 miles away from me! If I ever get internet again, I will NOT use Sparklight!!!! "We won't let you cancel".

First, someone actually answered the phone, and in a timely manner without being put on hold FOREVER. The agent was courteous, polite, and very helpful, answered all my questions and never made me feel like I was just another customer or that I did not matter.

They have a monopoly as an ISP in this area. They provide subpar speeds for PREMIUM pricing. They also DONT SUPPORT IPV6. That's right; in the year of our lord 2023 this bum ISP will charge you $120 per month for just under a gigabit of IPv4 (highest teir pricing is the only way to have unlimited DATA). Not like you have a choice if you live in the area though. Total predatory behavior. We deserve better.

I was there to return their equipment and cancel my service because the bill was raising every month; couldn't afford it

The serviceman installed on time and quickly. I’m very impressed with Sparklight. I get all my channels clearly and instantly. The internet has NEVER been interrupted and is also quick responding.

I used to have cable and internet. Our basic cable was extremely expensive and would go out way too often for no apparent reason. So we went to internet only and now our internet goes down for no apparent reason, 3 times in the last 2 months - terrible!

They are a very shady and scammy company they will make you spend money for a “ technician“ to come to your home for no reason other than to waste your time and money when they can just do whatever the need at the office on a computer.

Good internet. However, don’t expect your cable to be buried as they promise. if you move, they expect you to pay $45 to pick up the equipment or drive to the “nearest” drop off ( mine were 30 miles + away ). Or you can mail the equipment back to them at your cost. All other internet services I had paid for return of their equipment.

I hate internet service providers in general but this one takes the cake for having garbage options for their plans. I get charging more for increased speeds but limiting data on home internet is super scummy. The base limit barely even increases as you get faster options until the most expensive option. If you have any other option for isp in your area keep keep away from Sparklight like the plague. One positive is the stability in the internet connection is better from when it was NewWave.
