“Broke down on my way to northern Indiana, had my car towed there. Fixed my car way cheaper than I was expecting AND his wife picked me up from the bus stop in Rensselaer since I was riding the bus from Gary back home to Indy. They went above and beyond helping me out! If I lived closer, Whicker’s would be my full time mechanic. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or anyone traveling through who breaks down.”

“Nice little one stop shop. It's a gas station, outside car wash, they sell a lot of snacks & necessities. There's an ice cream shop here also. Great quality of ice cream with a large selection. Cold & warm beverages are sold here. Several different snack foods. Cigarettes are also sold here. Very nice family run business. Very awesome people. Stop by if you're in the area.”
