Riverbend Park is a charming, peaceful, and picturesque park with a beautiful view of the Ohio River. It is a great place to visit for a picnic, to watch the river, or to attend events like fireworks, food truck gatherings, and concerts. The park features a roomy gazebo, playground equipment, comfy overlook seating, and wonderful bench swings. It offers a wonderful view of the river and is adjacent to a quaint town with several restaurant and shopping options within easy walking distance, as well as a nature trail.
Charming, peaceful, picturesque park with beautiful river view. The bench swings were wonderful. We enjoyed watching the river: fish, tugboats, and a peaceful current. Highly recommend.

Where the whole town of Mt. Vernon Indiana gathers for Fourth of July for fireworks and in the summer food truck's are there on Mondays til 7 p.m.
