The cashier was very rude I tried to spark a conversation an he was just really rude he was like here by himself ok I get that an that is frustrating but don’t be rude to the customers Mr Murph is very rude an needs to be fired I will not come back in this store as long as he is working here !!!

Such a shame that they’re always closed during business hours, because the location is usually very well stocked and has friendly staff. The #1 thing you need to do as a business this day in age when your hours change, is update the hours online, which they fail to do. Only a sad hand-written sign on the door apologizing for the inconvenience. Sometimes.

closed during normal business hours for weeks now. this is a prime location with lots of people in the area that shop there. makes you wonder what upper management and corporate are doing to their employees that this place is always understaffed/closed. take care of your employees DG and they will take care of you that means good pay and growth opportunities, benefits, time off and a clear line of communication it really is that simple.

No fault of the staff's. But this place is perpetually understaffed, and because of this is always either a mess, or closed during business hours. If corporate provided better pay and a larger hours budget per store? This wouldn't happen.Edit: 3 days later, still closed during operating hours, still nothing posted online or local other than a tiny printed single sheet on the door. Do better, Dollar General upper management.

Yes, as many numerous people on here have pointed out it is a good location and great prices for the money. And mostly 85 to 90% I'd say their helpful BUT that doesn't stop the few times I've had to catch them acting RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To me. I mean not like nasty swearing rude but more like if you don't do what I tell you I won't let you have your groceries type rude, some one should really have them work on their people interaction skills.Thank you a concerned citizens that DOESN'T like to be disrespected!!!!!!

For all my time as a student and living close to here, this was a great place to go for quick pickups or bargain shopping. They have mostly everything you could need aside of produce which shouldn't be shocking.This place is great if you're one or two ingredients short and don't want to run across Muncie to go to Walmart or Meijer.
