Unfortunately, my experience has been one of the worst I have had with any business due to lack of communication, unnecessary delays and ultimately what looks to be $1,000 out of my pocket for an additional 4 weeks of car rental.When I booked my appointment, it was scheduled for Oct. 27th in Westfield, IN. I received a call from the shop saying their schedule had opened up, and they would be able to get my vehicle in early, Oct. 12th. I accepted and dropped my vehicle at the shop on 10/12/2023. On 10/13/2023, the shop started calling me to see if they could transfer my vehicle to another location (Muncie) because Muncie had more available staff to get the job moving. I was assured I would get regular communication on job status, and I would continue to work with the Westfield location to receive my vehicle back. Made it sound to me like they would work together.The vehicle was transferred to Muncie on 10/17/2023. From that point, I heard nothing until 10/31 when I started calling to get an update. I found that nothing except disassembly had been done with the vehicle. I have been given multiple stories as to why nothing was done, but in the end, no one called me! Next, I was told it would be the end of November before they could even get parts. As soon as I asked if there were options, I was told yes. Within 30 minutes, the estimator told me all parts could be obtained from an aftermarket in 3 – 4 days. A week later (11/10/2023), when I again called them, I was told they had just received all the parts. I asked if I could see the used tailgate prior to refinishing as I was concerned about used parts, but that was my only option. This seemed to be a total inconvenience for the estimator. She agreed, and I told her I would be there first thing Monday morning (now 12/13/2023). When I arrived as 9 a.m., an hour drive for me, the estimator had not planned for my arrival and made it again clear this was a huge inconvenience for her. After waiting ½ an hour, I inspected the tailgate and agreed all parts would be fine. The next day the estimator called, the first communication initiated by this shop, and said the vehicle should be done by the end of November.At this point, I was frustrated. Further, I was nearing the end of my rental car coverage. I went back to the Westfield location that I thought I was supposed to be working through to express my frustration and concern. The manager informed me there was really nothing he could do except communicate my concerns to the Muncie manager. He showed me a message he was sending to the Muncie manager asking him to please reach out to me prior to the end of the day on Friday, 11/17/2023.I never received any communication from the Muncie manager. However, the estimator called me on Monday morning to let me know my vehicle now won’t be done until 12/22/2023. They agreed there is likely about 40 hours of work left on the vehicle, and it is going to take them 5 weeks to complete that work. I am looking at having to pay the last four weeks of car rental out of my own pocket.It is clear neither of these shops are concerned about their customers or the cost we have to pay due to their lack of time management. I would never recommend either one of these shops to anyone!

Everyone was very perfestional. They went above and beyond. They also cleaned the inside of my vehicle. That helped me out so much I have a teenager and a toddler and work a full time job so having time to clean out my car is just not something that happens. I'm so happy with my experience.I will use them in the future if I need them.Service: Body & Trim

I had hit a large chunk of tire on the interstate, busting the front plastic on my '12 Dodge Charger. The repair to the front of my vehicle is so seamless, it's like they turned back the clock to before it happened. My car was returned to me swept out, windows cleaned, and they washed the exterior. They handled all the insurance paperwork and were super polite and professional. The repair was finished 2 days early as well. I can't express how happy I am with their services, almost makes me want to hit something else in the road just so I can go back!Services: Painting

This place was amazing. We originally went to 3 other shops closer to Columbus, IN but none offered the professionalism Angela showed us. She kept in contact with my fiancee and me every step of the way. She was able to get us in and out in no time. She worked hard at keeping the cost down and she gave us great advice moving forward. I called about repairs I asked if they had all the parts before I made the appointment to drop off my van. Twice. I asked again when I called to see if I could change my appointment they said they had all the parts and if I wanted to change it would be ten days later so I dropped it off and the. I dropped it off I asked again. And a 4th time they said all the parts. Then a week later they called and said they had all the parts ... except 1. And now I have to wait an additional 2 weeks -at least - without a van to use. That I could have used if they were honest. They wont acknowledge they said they had all the parts.Other places I called told me they didn’t have the parts. At least they were honest.Don’t trust themService: Body & Trim

I went to get an estimate for an insured that they were their repair shop I'm going to have my car repaired somewhere else but these silly people at Gerber try to tell the insurance company there's no trees on McGalliard where the collision happened so now they have delayed my claim a week due to their indiscrepancies and lies
