Minnetrista Museum & Gardens is a year-round gathering place and community center born out of the Ball family legacy. It features beautiful grounds, many beautiful buildings, lots of exhibits and galleries, and beautiful manicured gardens and paths that are free and open all day and night. There is always something new to discover, from interactive exhibits and the Bob Ross Experience to engaging workshops and unique events throughout the entire year. The gardens and native plant wooded area offer a peaceful aura for a romantic walk or a family stroll. The center has paid exhibits and community classes for things like preserving and canning, and arts. It is very kid friendly with lots of interactive fun for the whole family, and sensory-friendly tool kits are available. Visitors recommend needing a full day to see everything. The staff are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Easy to find with lots of parking, it is a fun blast for the whole family.
Minnesota was nice place to visit on a Sunday afternoon. My family enjoyed it. Especially the Bob Ross experience.

To actually see where Bob did his painting and see some of his actual paintings from the show was incredible. The experience was fascinating and even though I don't paint, I wouldn't mind signing up for lessons, just incredible.
