Had a wonderful experience on our weekend staycation. Shout out to Emily at the Bob Ross Experience when helping us through the ticket buying process online. Another shout out to Darrin and Clay that answered our questions when we were in the Ball House. Overall, there is tons of paths to walk and quite a few buildings to explore as well. I would like to visit again when it's warmer but everything on campus is in walking distance.

Beautiful place! A little expensive, but there's enough free stuff to do, to walk around the gardens, nature areas and Ball houses.

I booked the cantina room in Minnetrista for my sorority's bid day this year because of the beautiful views from the open windows. This bid day was THE BEST! It was so pretty, so fun, and the wonderful staff at Minnetrista did absolutely everything they could to help my group out. Everyone loved the food, a staff member completely set up the speakers for me when I didn't know how, and they accommodated my budget perfectly. I had no stress when working with them, and we loved the experience we had here. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to hold any event.

We visited today for the garden fair and farmer's market. Parking was free, plentiful, and close to the main event space. The staff working the gardens were knowledgeable about the plant species, friendly, and made sure we knew the herb garden was open for the public to take herbs home with them. In the fall, produce from the orchard can also be taken home for free! The garden spaces were well-kept and there were trails we didn't get to explore this time. We also did not enter the museum (or any of the buildings aside from the orchard restrooms). Plan to go back to do everything else another day

We visited specifically for the Bob Ross experience then ended up enjoying a few other places. It was fun to see the studio and various paintings in the house where the show was filmed. The other houses and surrounding gardens were also fun to explore. The nature area is a nice walk, even on a chilly wintery day like today. We're planning to go back in spring or summer when things green up again. There are quite a few little libraries around the entire area so if you have books you need to donate somewhere take them with you.

I'm a wedding + engagement photographer in Indiana and one of my couples had their engagement photos taken at Minnetrista. I was so pleasantly surprised to see all the blooming gardens and landscape that was taken care of. In addition, there were so many photo spots which made these engagement pictures so beautiful!

On a whim I decided to visit the Bob Ross Experience. Living an hour away I had no idea this place existed and learned of it because of the Bob Ross display. The employees were very welcoming and friendly. They all answered any questions I had and definitely made me feel welcomed.I love the community garden concept as well. There is even a seed case where you can get seeds for your garden or possibly leave some for others!

Nice place, large park with some interesting historical houses. Ball family, Bob Ross studio. The Bob Ross experience is kinda meh. The gallery is small but nice. Oakhurst house is interesting, but the upper floor is a changing display, it was Bob Ross quilts. Maplewood is a private building. EB Ball house was not open. The exhibits at the center were interactive and interesting. The gardens are small but pretty. The nature area is a maze of trails with no signs. There are different types of equipment to climb up from one trail to another, fitness style. Gift shop is nice and has a quilt garfield statue. You will need at least 3 hours to visit the indoor spaces. Grounds are open later. Not sure it was worth $15.

This is a large public space whose grounds contain 5 historical houses belongs to the Ball brothers (of Ball Canning Company fame), a museum, many gardens and also a Bob Ross Experience museum! ? Bob Ross hosted season 2-15 at the public television studio in one of the houses used by Ball State University on Minnetrista grounds.

Have lived in this area over 25 years..first time I have actually taken time to walk the area and paths. It was outstanding to see the work and designs that have been done with paths and such. Very tastefully done with purpose very up kept. I will go back and enjoy more. So much to see and I'm sure I missed much detail..classy, very tastefully laid out. Beautiful.

This place was pretty cool. Didn't have the time to take full advantage and see everything. But the sculpture, was impressive. As well as the mansions on the grounds. But the best part was seeing the house that Bob Ross filmed his Joy of Painting show. If you're stressed out, watch some Bob Ross, and you'll be immediately relaxed.

Beautiful grounds, buildings and so much history here, not to mention the Bob Ross Experience and Bob Ross painting classes. They offer many other events year around.
