The girl that works here is AMAZING! My daughter came in to find some shoes and didn’t know exactly what she wanted, she asked the girl working for advice and she helped her find a couple pairs and made sure they fit right! Usually my daughter has trouble finding shoes, but the employee made it so easy! I’ll be a returning customer. The prices are excellent too and they even have a rewards program. Thank you Shoe Dept!!!

I have always received great service from Shie Dept when that were in the mall. I was looking forward to visiting their new location on Mcgalliard Road in Muncie. However, no one would help me. They didn't even acknowledge my presence when I walked in. Two employees were there and were just talking to each other. There were no other customers in the store. I would have expected employees to be a bit cheerful, considering this is their grand opening.

Nice selection. Moved from the Muncie mall. They have men's, ladies, and kids shoes. Casual, dress, and athletic shoes. They also have a decent rewards program if you shop for shoes frequently. My favorite part is the area for kids with a tv and seating. A great touch for a family shopping for multiple kids.

Got a great deal here today. I got a pair of shoes that I have been wanting for a while for 1/3 the normal price. Awesome! We will definitely be back.

I can't say I have ever had a bad experience here. The staff is always friendly. I like that they always seem to have deals going on and I do not think their prices are too bad.

I really like this store and recommend it. They’ve got a huge car of shoes for men, women and kids. They’re cheaper than anywhere but carry more. The workers in the store are very nice and helpful also.

Shoe selection is decent but needs to address customer service with their staff. Never once did we receive any help while shopping. After finding what we wanted we went to the checkout to have the employee stand with her back to us for more than 4 minutes. We were right behind her and she could see our reflection in the glass. When another customer walked up she instantly turned and greeted them continuing to ignore us. She finally acknowledged us after helping the other customer and informed us we were supposed to have had someone on the floor get the other shoe for us and we would now have to wait for them to do that. She promptly went right back to ignoring us. Thankfully another employee heard this interaction and went for the other shoe and ended up checking us out because the girl working the counter was still standing with her back to us.
