Sparks got me in and out for a job in one day that others were estimating 3 to 10 days. Plus, they did it for less. I have went to Sparks for years and have always had excellent service done. Everyone is friendly, honest, and willing to help out in any way.

I wouldn’t trust Sparks to fix my brakes on my vehicle!! His mechanic said he fixed the brakes on a Ford escape and took it for a test drive and hit my brand new truck going 50mph! He said the brakes went out and he couldn’t stop. I had just stopped at a stop sign before he hit me from behind. The moron wasn’t smart enough to pull the emergency brake!

Chad and his team were top notch. Fair pricing, quality service. They were honest on what needs to be done with our car (Touareg). This will save us money and time compared to taking it to the dealership that will charge you an arm and leg. We finally found our local mechanic shop. Will definitely service our cars thru them.

I cannot recommend Sparks enough. Ever since I moved to Muncie two years ago, they have had my back and have taken care of me all the way. I trust them with everything that comes with my car. Their customer service, willingness to help, and overall expertise is why I will keep coming back. Had to get some parts replaced and the mechanic AND owner both stayed 90 minutes after closing time to make sure I can have my car back and get me back on the road. Appreciate everyone there at Sparks!

Sparks has treated me right since I moved to Muncie 2 years ago. They installed a new hood latch mechanism in my car today and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. Keep up the good work!! Thanks again

They will attempt to hold your vehicle hostage if you don’t order your parts through them so they can make their commission! I had a new starter ordered and shipped to them in order to have it installed and save $300. I was told over and over again to “be careful because I may not order the right starter.” This was an attempt to try to dissuade me from getting the part myself for $60 and instead pay them $300 so it will be “the correct one”. Guess what happens when it arrives? They claim it is the wrong starter “because it has an extra wire”. This was 2 hours after it had been delivered and 15 minutes before their posted closing time on a Friday (closed on weekends). I immediately just drove there to confront them because they quit answering my phone call. I’m sure they were hoping to close up and avoid me for the weekend. NOPE! I get there and there is no “extra wire” on the starter to be found and the mechanic’s story has now changed. He claimed he wasn’t sure if he would be able to get it to fit. He attempted to show me, which was just absolutely ridiculous what he was trying to explain on why it wouldn’t fit. Then, if it did fit, he said other wiring may touch the metal on the starter and cause it to arc. So, I suggested to just wrap it in electrical tape to prevent this, right? Easy fix, problem solved. After I resolved that issue for them, the mechanic said they had family stuff going on this evening and he wouldn’t have time to get it all put back together. So, I said just give me the new starter and put the front tires back on and I’ll settle up with what I owe. Then, I’ll have it towed to a mechanic who CAN do it. This, of course, upset him because it offended his ego. Then guess what?? He magically got the starter put in AND my car put back together by 5:27 (I had arrived at 5:03). Then he backed it out, parked it in front of the office, shut it off, then left to go home. He shut it off because he knew the battery would be dead from it sitting (any skilled mechanic should know this) so that I would have to get it jumped. I don’t know if he was hoping I’d be stuck there needing a jump start or what. Just one last little way he thought he could mess with me maybe? To his surprise though, I had my trusty $200 portable jump starter box with me and literally before he could pull out of the parking lot, I had it started again. A+ for effort though! Needless to say, Sparks should be your absolute last choice if you need your car worked on. They tried to scam me all the way to the very end. If I hadn’t drove there and confronted them, I wouldn’t be getting my vehicle back until at least the end of the day Monday, if not longer.

The owner Chad is a really nice guy and his mechanics are wonderful. He had his guys look at my car even though it was close to close and they stayed hours over to fix it. They were super nice and took the time to explain what was wrong with my car and how it would affect my driving. They even offer discounts for students!! I would definitely recommend and I will be coming here for all my car troubles!

I gave this place 2 stars 11 years ago and I have no idea why. I don't even live in Muncie anymore lol I am now giving this place 5 stars simply because the new owner wanted to remedy it. Good luck to the new owner!

Chad and his guys were wonderful! Got an oil change and they tried figuring out what was making the squeaking noise! I would recommend these guys, to anyone! Sparks is the place to go!

Under old ownership they weren’t good. I love what the new new guys are doing every time I really needed car work done they got me in and fixed it same day can’t thank them enough I’d definitely recommend this place

I 1000% recommend this auto shop!!! I was there for an inspection suspecting something might be wrong with my Sorento. Fortunately there wasn’t, but the gentleman there was SO informal (being that I knew absolutely nothing about cars) and reassured me nothing was wrong. While Im very hesitant walking into any auto shop worrying I’d be nothing but another dollar sign to someone. I wasn’t here!!!! Money is something this shop doesn’t see first when you walk into their doors, no. But what they do see, is someone just like them who needs help in a time of need. And that we don’t have much left of in this society. I am definitely going to be a regular for any car repairs or needs at this shop. Thank you!!

We were in from Colorado and needed immediate attention for our Durango. We were taken care of immediately and the repairs were done in a very timely manner. They were in constant communications with us and were just very professional. Highly recommend.
