Arrived on a busy sunday and Beth and Seth both behind counter working professionally while exhausted. One employee quit mid shift while I was there and Beth stepped up to help even more. I asked both names before I left so I could leave a review. They did great.

Upon arrival for my scheduled appointment for new tires and a brake inspection, I was informed that the tires I selected when booking online—priced at $289 for all four ($66 ish per tire) —were not in stock. Instead, I was told that only tires priced at $172 per tire were available, which is more than double the cost.
During the inspection, an employee—whose name, I believe, is James—informed me that my rear brakes and rear tires were in the worst condition and that he did not really feel comfortable reinstalling tired without replacements
At the front counter, with my friend Faith present, I requested an exact quote for all four tires out the door. James provided a figure of approximately $700, and confirmed that this included the tires, tax, disposal fees, alignment & the buy 3 get 1 free deal. I then asked for the cost of replacing all four sets of brakes and rotors, which he quoted as $636. Based on these quotes, I authorized Tire Barn to move forward with installing all four tires and all four brakes/rotors
After approximately three and a half hours, my vehicle was brought out and then taken back in. James later informed me they had placed the vehicle on the alignment machine and confirmed that it required an alignment costing an additional $135, Which I thought was already in the quote so I asked for clarification with the situation and they said “ we don’t pre sell alignments in case you don’t need one” this has never been the case when I’ve came here before, so I declined for that day but planned to return for it later in the week.
Upon leaving the store, my friend and I immediately noticed that my brakes were squeaking—unexpected for newly installed brakes? When reviewing the printed invoice, I saw that it listed only the tires and rear brakes, not the full service I had authorized.
I called the store for clarification, and James answered. He stated that they only replaced the 4 tires and the rear brakes and rotors because those were the ones that were in bad condition. This directly contradicts what had been represented to us during the appointment, and I would not have approved the quoted price for replacement of only the rear.
When he pulled up my information again, he then stated that the store had installed the four tires and front brakes—which directly contradicted what he had told me moments earlier about the rear brakes. At this point, I had no clear understanding of what work was actually performed on my vehicle, and James seemed to be unable to provide consistent or accurate information and stated he must have “ mis spoken” about what he just told me on the phone and the quoted items
This entire situation has left me extremely frustrated. I feel I was misled regarding both pricing and services performed.

Came here because they’re open until 7pm… and THANK GOODNESS! I got a flat tire at 6:15pm! They were incredibly kind and helpful, and were willing to help me even though it was close to closing time. Only $35 to patch my tire. They are literally life-savers!

Don’t go anywhere else in Muncie! Their team is incredible, and the store manager, Geneva Huxhold, goes above and beyond. I came in late on a Friday with a flat tire, and even though they were already backed up, she still made sure I was taken care of. Truly outstanding service!

I have purchased alot of tires from you. But this time was so bad. When I arrived they told me it would be about an hour wait and I was fine with that. In fact they did take my truck in which was under the time but it took the guy over 2 1/2 hours to install my tires!! The worst service I have ever experienced with Tire Barn!!! The manager said that the workers had been so slow all day is why the wait!! He did discount some of the price, but damn if you can control time of installation by the slow employees then the slow employees need to go!!

I told them and my husband made sure to tell them that we wanted two new tires because the back left tire was running low. We wanted the two new tires put on front and the front tires that were already on the car moved to the back. They did not listen and put the two new tires on the right side ! So the original tire on the back left side is STILL on there which was the entire reason we wanted new tires anyways. Actually as I’m typing this I’m waiting on a spare tire to be brought to me because the tire went out on me as I was driving, which could have caused a wreck. Had this tire been changed like we BOTH originally asked I wouldn’t be sitting here waiting on yet another damn tire to be brought to me!
On another note, I was charged almost 300 dollars for 2 tires that were supposed to be buy one get one free. I am highly disappointed and upset at this service I will not be back here, I should’ve just went to belle tire and paid a little more money but would have got better service!

Long wait time do to lack of employees. Employee using profanity. Loud heavy metal music being played. I have always bought all my tires at TireBarn but will now buy elsewhere due to poor management.

Needed roadside service and was about 3 hours from home. This team took care of us! They treated us so well and we appreciate them in such a vulnerable time. I highly recommend this place!

Do not recommend.
Charged about 100 more than I was told to expect.
Rescheduled with very little notice twice!
Threw out my old tires (I had told them I wanted to keep them)
Parked my bumper on the curb worsening the crack and scratching the bottom up.
Not sure how or why but 6 of the clips to the bumper near the hood are now out of place and bent so wont go back in.
Not a huge deal but they could’ve at least tried to hide the magnets from balancing.
Not to mention guy was slightly condescending when I asked about an alignment.

This is one of the worst run stores in central Indiana. Appt on Sat at 10:30 and was told it would be a min 4 hour wait because all the techs but one called in sick. They changed appt to 9 am on Sunday and only 2 techs showed up for work. Didnt get out until 10:33! We want our tire disposal fee returned at the very least. 30 dollars a piece for this. Highway robbery. Will never go back again until these issues are fixed.Store #1100
