It used to be so nice refilling propane tanks here bc you saved money over exchanging but now They keep raising their prices for refills (over 3x the wholesale price) & now it’s almost the exact same price as exchanging tanks. I suppose it’s convenient When you have larger tanks but if you’re refilling 20lb tanks.. it’s not worth it anymore. I get that they have to make a profit… and propane prices fluctuate. but when there’s other stores that sell it for $1.99-$2.49/gal & they’re selling it for $3.89+/gal it just doesn’t make sense to refill over exchange.
The current wholesale price of propane in the area right now is $1.279/gal as of 1/25/25… so if you’re refilling 20lb tanks hit up Ace hardware or other farm & feed stores bc they’re not going to overcharge you & they actually make it worth the hassle.

Bought two bags of feed corn from here and when I got home and opened them they were full of weevils. Called the store to inform them that the bags had weevils in them and they told me to burn the feed immediately. I told them that I want my money back for the product and they gave me a run around. So now I have two burnt bags of feed and no money back.

Brought my dog here for the dog wash area since he is filthy, only to find out they DO NOT have a dog wash station at this location! There website sais they do! Complete waste of time and heading home with a happy ( he still got his treats and did not have to get wet) but filthy dog!!!

I visited the New Castle store today and it was much better than the Muncie location.
I find this Muncie store to be lacking in care. It gives Tractor Supply a bad name. From the parking lot all the way through needs attention. Management needs to take a road trip to New Castle to see how it’s done. If they can’t see the difference they shouldn’t be in management

The staff are so friendly and informative. The store is always tidy and inviting. The parking lot is clean and free of pot holes and I feel the prices are fair. I would recommend this store to others!

Great customer service, no issues there. Store is stocked, plenty of parking. I come here bi-weekly for propane fill up and half the time they are out. Otherwise, 5 stars.

Went to purchase a pellet gun. It was locked on the shelf. Unable to find an associate, I waited in line 10 minutes just to tell the cashier I wanted to purchase the item. There were no customers in line behind me by the time I got to the cashier, but they pretended to be too busy to come unlock the item and told me someone would be there as soon as possible. I said i'd be at the item to meet them there, evidently they did not even tell another associate to unlock it for me as I waited at the item another 15 minutes and finally saw an associate who i flagged down for help, who was completely unaware that I needed the item unlocked. I then had to wait in line yet again to check out. Horrible customer service

I went in to buy some boots, they didn’t have composite toe ones so I decided to try some Ariat slips ons. I asked about the return policy and they said I can try them on and if I don’t like them I can return them. So I went to work but the top part of the boot was too tight and it irritated my foot. The next day I spoke to a lady she’s was real nice and helped me out a lot on the return process.
