My family and I, drove 45 minutes to take our daughter to Ulta, for her firsts in make up! While shopping we couldn’t get any help, the one question I got to ask, was shortened and shrugged off by the associate working. When we got in line, I didn’t correctly hear the lady at the register, she yelled at me to get behind the lady ahead. When I got to the register, I was treated extremely poorly by store manager, Shaina. She was scanning and throwing my things in the bag, I decided to return my things, she said no problem threw my change at me and told me to have a good day. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. I will not go back to this location, and I will tell everyone I know not to choose to spend their money at a place like this.

RUDE managers. especially Shana. A lot of the employees treat you terrible, except for a handful, but I believe it’s from the managers. They are so unbelievably rude and act entitled. Multiple people I know have had the same issue. We will no longer go to Ulta in Muncie because of this, I will pay a little more at Sephora to get excellent customer service where they appreciate your business. zero stars if i could

The cashier was rude and made our checkout experience very uncomfortable. She seemed like she really did not want to be there and made a few snide remarks towards us. The selection of products in the store is great though, and the store was very clean and organized.

Endora did a cut and color on my hair and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She made me feel comfortable, accepted, and beautiful the entire time. I called in to make a same-day appointment and she squeezed me in and rescued my hair from being a disaster. I walked in feeling ashamed, defeated, and unkempt and left feeling radiant, renewed, and extremely satisfied! She even took the time to show me products to care for my new color, and ways to style my new cut. If there’s any doubt in your mind about a fast-service salon being low-quality, you can squash that now! This is the best service, best cut, best color I’ve ever received. I can’t recommend Endora enough!

I'm not sure what the issue was, but from the moment I walked in the door my friend and I were followed around by workers who were very obviously trying to act like they weren't watching us. We grabbed a few items (which we purchased of course) but they continued to follow us around like we were stealing or doing something wrong. I also got yelled at for smelling a tester perfume. Very weird vibes among the employees in here lmao. Oh and not to mention even though we were being followed around by the same few employees not a single person asked if we needed help, even though we didn't but it's the principle.

The salon manager is extremely rude and racist. I went to get my balayage done. Asked for brown. She showed me a copper red tone and I emphasized again that I want brown and No hint of red at all. She told me that it will turn out brown for sure. I was there for 3.5 hours. And had to leave then, manager was not there when I left and I had an infant to get back to. My hair were super red when I came and saw it after drying. I told her this and she told me to come after 5 days, they put a dye on again and it stayed red still. I left as there seemed to be nothing they could to fix it. I returned at another day when manager was available and she told me that since I was from ‘afghanistan’ and that I must have used henna or box dye in the past, after I repeatedly told her I had not’.( I am from Pakistan). Then she proceeded to tell me that due to my ethnicity, the dye turned out red which is an insult to my intelligence as she clearly used a copper red dye and did not want to admit her mistake. She refused to do anything at all about it and instead told me how I will have to take multiple trips to get what I want. I contacted ulta customer services who are an even bigger disappointment. They told me district manager will call in 48 hours. Its been two weeks and no response. They are horrible and inconsiderate and I will certainly never step foot in ulta again.

I love the styles here and the stores staff. All amazing customer service even at rush times. It's usually not as busy as today.

I must have called at a bad time (6:00pm Saturday). I just had a few questions about their salon. A lady picks up and scoffs and says “how can I help you?” I then asked if their salon does haircuts. Her response was “we have a salon.” So I said oh ok… so then do you have any appointments available soon? She then said “well definitely not today. We have no openings today.” And I was like okay that’s fine do you take appointments on Sundays? She then said “tomorrow on Sunday we have these appointment available” but read them off in a speedy and annoyed way. My husband could hear this conversation as well and he was surprised as to how rude this lady on the phone was being toward me. I was just trying to gather information.So I was very disappointed with the service I received over the phone. Honestly made me uncomfortable and not want to get my haircut there.

Today was my first experience with Ulta Salon. I stopped in for a curl cut, and Endora did a phenomenal job bringing my limp hair back to life! She was knowledgeable, confident, professional, and friendly throughout the whole process. My only regret is that I am in town visiting from 4 hours away, but I might have to make a special trip to see Endora the next time I need a cut!
