“I never really write reviews but I honestly had to with how good of service this shop is. I had taken in my car for a new mirror replacement and a bumper fix they did both in 2 hrs and it was affordable. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who is need of getting their car fixed 10/10”

“Was told to go to 7901 Taft St. in Merrillville for appointment. That was the wrong address given to me by the representative that scheduled the job. Went on Maps to get directions and this location came up as legitimate. It is not! The proper location is on West 82nd place. Huge mixup and bad administrative procedures. But.. the office staff was great, and the work was done well. Very happy with that. Truck has chips repaired( can't even see them), and rear slider is completely renewed. Great work!”

“Recently I sustained damage to my Genesis GV70 and the Genesis dealer recommended Govert Auto Body. I was impressed with how thorough they were in assessing the damage and quickly giving me a estimate. I dropped my car off and a few days later my car was ready. The repair was such that I was unable to see where the damage was. The paint job was par excellence. I relayed my impression back to the dealer.

“We have had a couple different vehicles taken care of by Govert. Both were due to car accidents and our insurance sent us to Govert. We have had zero negative interactions with Govert. On the first one, insurance was the primary hold up since they seemingly took their time to inspect the vehicle. Once that was done, Govert was great in getting the SUV repaired and us back on the road in our own vehicle. It was a smooth process too, in arranging for a rental to pick us up and drop us off at Govert. The second one the repair took a bit longer due to the COVID impact of getting the necessary parts, but once they were received, Govert expedited getting the car fully repaired. Awhile later, this same vehicle was taken in to Govert due to being hit rear ended. Govert let us know right away that the frame appeared to be bent, so we should start looking for another vehicle as the insurance company would probably total it, which they did. Fortunately in all cases, the damage was done in a not our fault accidents. Govert has always treated us great as well as others we have referred to them.”

Called yesterday afternoon 8/5/25 and they were finished by 11am 8/6/25. I will definitely be recommending this amazing shop to everyone! I got an OEM windshield for my 2020 f350 for under $600 OTD. Safelite wanted almost $1,200 ?♀️ Not only did I save money even with a very last minute service, I received the best customer service. You honestly won’t find a better, more honest, quality and fair priced shop like this one anywhere. Did I mention the amazing customer service and atmosphere?? Thank you for an amazing experience! We will be back!
