On 10/02/2021 I came to this branch to open a account and deposit a "large" cashiers check. Upon arriving at the entrance I was met with a locked door. A sign taped to the door revealed they were practicing social distancing Cool! I get it, also appointment needed? Looking at the empty parking lot and also noticing there was no line wrapping around the building of people waiting for the scheduled appointments. I pushed the button on the cleverly located makeshift door chime. As I waited momentarily fully vaccinated since March, mask donned and smelling of fresh hand sanitizer. A individual finally approached and unlocked the door. She stated the lobby was closed for appointments only. I was not asked the nature of my business. Was not accommodated even though there was no-one else seeking lobby entrance. I replied OK, I will take my money elsewhere. I work 12+ hours 5-6 days out of the week. I fit my personnel business in when time allows. I find it hilarious I need to make a appointment to deposit "MY" money in your bank. You have lost a customer. Stay Safe.

Cindy is rude, unprofessional and possibly racist. Terrible customer service. I've already filed a consumer complaint with the Attorney General and I'd advise EVERYONE to bank elsewhere!!!!!!

This has been my bank since I moved to Munster more than a decade ago. The entire staff has always been very friendly and helpful to me and I will miss them all when I move away, hopefully to a place where Horizon has a branch.

Very dissatisfied with this bank. The only account a qualified for was a "fresh start" account because of an account that I was secondary on got overdrawn and the original account holder never paid so it went to collections. I was not aware of this but accepted the account. The teller assured me that if I needed the daily limit of 300 removed it could be done no problem provided I did not overdraw my account. Here we are several months down the road with never an overdrawl and they will still not remove the daily limit. This would not be a problem if it were not for 200 that gets transferred to my savings counting towards my daily limit after them telling me it doesn't as my car payment of 185 every two weeks counting as well. That alone brings me to the 300 limit so if I need to put gas in my vehicle or pay a bill or access my money for anything I can't until the following Monday! I have called several times about this and each time they tell me its taken off permanently but it never is! Its only for the day and that doesn't help at all! I called today to finally try and get this resolved once and for all and was on hold for 15 minutes only to be hung up on. I called back only to be told that this could not be done. I will be closing my account and going to a different bank.
