“I’ve stayed at Hyatt Place Munster several times, and I’ve always had a great experience here. A special thanks to Sean Perez, the General Manager, who is incredibly responsive and efficient. Whenever I’ve had questions or issues with my reservations, he’s been very quick to respond to my emails, sometimes within just five minutes! During my most recent stay, I ran into a reservation issue when the hotel was already fully booked. Sean still managed to find a way to accommodate me and secure a room. I really appreciate how quickly and effectively he handles things. Monica was also very helpful in coordinating everything and making sure my reservation was taken care of. I also want to mention how much I appreciate the entire front desk team. Every time I visit, whether it’s early in the morning, in the afternoon, or late at night, everyone is always so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The consistency of their hospitality really stands out. As a Globalist, I’ve stayed at many Hyatt properties, including several five-star hotels, and I can honestly say that the service and hospitality I’ve experienced here are better than at many of those properties. Great hospitality really comes down to the people, and this team does an excellent job. Thank you, Sean, Monica, and the entire front desk team! I’ll definitely keep coming back.”

“Michelle is amazing and very personable. She is also a Believer. Tree is another gem, you have to taste her cooking (that woman brings in food to share (OH MY GOD) is she a Chef? Max always is energetic and upbeat. I know I can be a pain and very needy, but they all keep helping me. David is quiet, but he keeps the place in tip top shape. John has a system of mopping and cleaning, that is detailed and convenient for everyone. Jill keeps that breakfast hot, delicious, and she keeps a smile of her face. Flor is also a sweetheart. The maid service is second to none. Shucks, this place is my temporary home (because of a fire at my house); but I'm so glad these people I mentioned above had made me feel so comfortable. I get off work early, just to come home, I mean to the hotel early sometimes to relax! For real...”

“Set back from the main road. This made it quieter. Room was nice. Shower with sliding doors rather than a tub with a curtain. Bathroom had a real vent fan. Mini fridge and microwave. Adequate drawers and work space although I was just there to sleep. The sign said room was serviced every other day, but I got fresh towels every day.”

“Updated review: elevators were working by the next day and hit breakfast was back as well. I updated my review to reflect that. Previous review: I’m staying in the aftermath of the storms that hit NWI. I was not expecting perfection. However, being that the hotel is running on a generator and cannot provide certain services and the fact that this is an emergency I expected to be paying prices that reflect that. I was told that they were using standard pricing regardless because the storm wasn’t their fault. It was no one’s fault but to pay full price for less than full service is robbery and best western can afford to do better especially for people in need.”

“I got the hot tub sweet and it's just what I needed! The jacuzzi and pool was great and when I needed something the staff was helpful. They didn't have the best TV setup meaning it was just cable but we don't watch TV like that anyway so it was a problem. Considering making this a monthly event just for the tub and the pool”

The staff were very friendly & the continental breakfast was amazing! Biscuits & gravy ? Another bonus was a brewery right across the road. Definitely recommend staying here.”

“Great place if you're working in the area. (Per Diem Peeps). This is an older property, but management has done a good job on cleanliness & upkeep. The staff is very courteous & quick to respond to any request. My room was clean & housekeeping was top notch. Plenty of hot water & close to everything. My only issue was some sporadic internet issues. But if you're looking for a reasonable clean room, I would recommend this BW. I will definitely stay here again.”

“So we stayed extended at this motel and I wanted to give credit where credit was due. First and foremost, shout out to Sandy who works behind the front desk. She is very efficient at her job and cares about customer experience. She was so very kind our entire stay. Also, officer Young was a nice dude. He has to come around with Sandy to make sure everyone is checking out on time and he does it with poise. I'm glad they gave her backup. Now for the rooms. I enjoyed the shower it was very spacious. I wish there was better water pressure but having working water worked for me. Never had plumbing issues with anything so that was good too. Microwave and fridge worked well, and beds were comfy. AC never blew out once, and sheets and towels were fresh on our chosen days of Monday and Friday. The channels were decent (definitely grateful for comedy central) It was never super loud inside or outside of the motel and police were ever present. The young Indian guy who works the front desk was easy to work with and Ries on night shift is great as well; very pleasant and easy to talk to. I do have a few issues to speak of. Firstly, I did not care for the elderly housekeeper who works with her sons trying to get me kicked out. We cleaned our own room and she got disciplined for saying she did it and tried to take it out on us and that was foul as we were nothing but kind to her Everytime we saw her. I thought we were just making her workload a little lighter. Also, there is an elderly woman who works nights who can be very I'll mannered for no reason. She makes it known that she disapproves of less clothing by looking you up and down with the nastiest look on her face, judging as you walk by. I've seen her do it to other women and had to go through it myself. And the main takeaway is NO BEDBUGS NOT ONCE LBVS! I am so grateful we didn't have any big issues because sometimes that is definitely a problem. Overall I give it a 4 out of five stars and definitely will use this motel in the future if needed. Thank you to the staff for having us and helping us through a very trying time.”

“Rooms are ample in size, and the price is fair for the quality. All of the furnishings are a couple years out of date, but they are well maintained, giving it a pleasant feel.The floor was oddly a little dirty. I usually walk barefoot in my hotel stays, and within an hour, there was dirt all over the soles of my feet. You wouldn't think it, though, at first glance. Room could probably use a deep clean.Staff is courteous and complimentary breakfast was of good quality. Overall expect a comfortable stay for a little more than 100/night.Rooms: Excellent size. Solid furnishings. Ample toiletries. Shower has solid water pressure and heat.Floor definitely needed deep steam clean.Safety: Hotel is safe and parking plentiful. No issues with a multi day stay.Walkability: About 10 to 15 minute walk to a small number of restaurants and gas stations/convenience stores.Food & drinks: Complementary breakfast 6 to 930. Good variety. Excellent old bar across Torrence (JJ Kelley's). Ease of access to other restaurants in short driving distance.”

“I was traveling into Chicago for business and I was looking for a good economy hotel room. Found this property but I was a little afraid of getting a room at this hotel since the reviews were bad so I wasn’t sure but the price was a good value for money. So, I went ahead and booked a room. The staff at the check in was very helpful, I was told by the front desk staff that the hotel was under new management. After getting in my room, I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room. Even though the room needed some upgrades, sheets, towels and the bathroom was very clean and specially the internet was great.The location was Excellent just off 294 andI-80. I had to be in downtown Chicago and was only 30 minutes away. I will recommend this hotel.”
