If I could give negative stars I would. The staff was great until I realized the MRI is virtually at your face. The technician because VERY rude & disrespectful! BE BETTRR!

When I don’t go to Community Hospital or to the diagnostic center for CT scans or MRIs/ i’ve been coming here to Munster Open MRI, for about three years now. Very professional Staff / prompt courteous and thorough. Very reliable images as well from x-rays to CT scans to MRIs. I would highly recommend Munster open MRI. / thank you.

Reception wasn’t the most friendly and they never responded back to a voicemail I left multiple days ago. They didn’t offer what I was looking for either.

This facility does not give patient or doctor online access to results. I was not given a disk for the doctor to review. Now I have to make an extra trip to pick up the disk and make another appointment with the doctor. This is extremely difficult because the patient is incapacitated and requires a medical transportation company to get her and her caregiver to the doctors office. Also, the radiologist did NOT include all findings in the summary. Seems rather negligent to me. I definitely do NOT recommend using Munster Open MRI.

Love this place. Easy to make an appointment and the results are almost instant (next day).

The email response was impressively fast, the two ladies in the front office were very nice. I came in to fill out paperwork and they were very efficient. My only complaint would be that it took an hour (they said 30 minutes) but I've never had a doctors office ever be on time.Would definitely recommend. Report was back in about 26 hours, so all around a great experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs. Staff rude and incompetent. Staff stated were in network but actually were not.Multiple calls to attempt to resolve. Years later they are STILL as regular practice not telling you they're not in network. Place is dirty. Staff failed to send MRI results despite having all info to do so. Took 3 months to get.Was promised open MRI but showed up and they didn't do an open one. Not trustworthy. Edit - I love how the owner, instead of addressing the multiple complaints of rude staff on the reviews or any of the serious allegations of malfeasance on the part of this business, simply replied to my review and said the staff were friendly. I think that tells you all you need to know about the level of effort they put in here.

FYI: We've used this location twice now and both times our doctors told us it was a horrible MRI. Very difficult to read because it's so fuzzy. They really need to upgrade their machines. We will not be using them again.

if I could give this place zero stars I would. I took my boyfriend here to get an MRI and as I was in the waiting room the two receptionist Carla and Vanessa we’re making phone calls to patients and making fun of them after they hung up the phone on them. They were very unprofessional and another nurse came over from a different sweet and they were all talking about another coworker that previously worked in the building saying that she was annoying and ugly because she would never wear make up while I was sitting right there. they also called my boyfriend three times previously before his appointment to see if he could come in three hours earlier than scheduled because they wanted to go home, their office isn’t supposed to close until 6 PM. The staff is really unprofessional and I do not recommend this office at all!

I live in the Portage, IN area. I called Munster MRI on Friday, April 23rd, after shopping MRI services in the area through my insurance. Munster Open MRI was going to save me over $800. It was a no-brainer—even though the drive is terrible.I spoke with a woman who was very pleasant. We even joked about the name of my doctor (because it sounds like a cuss word). She said she received the order for my MRI via fax. She took my insurance info. Then, she said, "I have to talk with another girl that has the book for scheduling. Instead of making you wait, I'll call you back in about five minutes."About an hour went by before I tried to call them back. Nobody answered. Nobody called on Monday morning, either. So, I called late Monday morning (April 26). I spoke with another nice woman. I explained the scenario, and she seemed a bit miffed (not at me, but actually for me, which was refreshing). She put me on hold to look into it. She ended up having to call me back, promised to do so, and actually did. She found NONE of my info. There was no record of anything that occurred Friday. She said she even tried calling the women who were there Friday, but nobody was answering their phones (I assume they were home/off work). She took all my info again. She even went ahead and scheduled me for May 5.One of the women called me to try to get me in sooner (more than once, actually. Cool). I ended up changing the date to May 3rd. I got there and got right in. The imaging specialist even urged me to use the restroom beforehand (cool). There wasn't any toilet paper. NBD. I was able to find some under the sink (giant rolls). Just marginally weird.I was asked to fill out paperwork AFTER my imaging was over. A lot of it, in nature, seemed like something that should be reviewed beforehand, but they ask these things on the phone when scheduling, too. I asked for my results (which I assumed meant both report and images together). They said, "That can be emailed to you when they are ready. We will be sending the results to your doctor tomorrow, so they will have them.""OK. Cool! Thanks." Bye.I called my specialist the next day to make my follow-up, who was scheduling two weeks out. I figured there was nothing big to worry about. I gave them a heads up that they should be seeing that report that day. Didn't hear anything more (this part is probably on my specialists' office). Then, a few days later (maybe May 5th or 6th), I remembered I wanted my results/images. So, I did the Contact Us form on the Munster Open MRI website (to include my email address so they could send those). No response.Wednesday, May 12, I thought, "Oh, yeah! Nobody responded to me about my results. I'd like to know what my results were and get a copy of my images." So, I called this time. The woman was kind/cordial and immediately sent my report. However, she informed me that my images are only put on DVD, and I'd have to come in to pick them up."Oh. I was told they could be emailed. I live 45 minutes away."I read the report after I hung up, and I learned that my foot is actually BROKEN. I wasn't supposed to see my specialist for another week. I called my specialist to tell them that I just read my MRI report, and I was concerned. They could get me in the next day, but I needed TO BRING THEM THE IMAGES (which I would have to go to Munster Open MRI to get). They had the report (which, perhaps, as I mentioned before, this part could be on them because I don't know why they wouldn't have gotten me in sooner after seeing the report alone). So, I called Munster Open MRI back after scheduling an appointment with the specialist (I could've done 8 a.m., but I ended up having to do 3 p.m. just to make sure that I could get the DVD of images). "Yeah. We don't UPS them or anything like that. Actually, if you plan to come get them, call ahead so that we can make sure to have them ready when you get here.""Let's consider this phone call me calling ahead right now '

Here, lay flat on your bad back. Put your sore foot in the holster, oh, it hurts, well stay like this for 35 minutes anyway. Can't continue? Guy threw a hissy fit. Awful experience, will tell my doctor about this, will also contact my insurance. Terrible.
